Pro Evo 3.5 announced! Konami to update the update of Winning Eleven 7, add more real players and fail to release it over here.
While we had to wait for Winning Eleven 7 to be released here as Pro Evolution Soccer 3, Konami didn't waste this time and added features, animations and teams that our Asian cousins had to go without. And now, to re-level the playing field, Japan is set to receive Winning Eleven 7 International, or Pro Evo 3.5, if you will.

This new version will include all the advances made in PES3, as well as anything that Konami see fit to sneak onto the black, shiny disc before it's released. Something that will be included is language support for a number of European dialects (including our own mother tongue), something which got a number of pundits ever so excited about the possibility of a release here. As much as we would like it to be true, it's just not going to happen. Sorry, but we'll have to live with the slightly older version now. Since we got updates of WE5, 6 and 7 it's only fair that they have the definitive version this time around.

If you are talking about Winning Eleven International, then it wont be Pal so you can hardly call it pes 3.5. Pretty old news, btw.

Yeah but all those who love the series have got their PS2's modded anyway in order to play WE7. This is the right step for Konami, releasing an update with Japanase AND English language. Saves all those patchers translating it all. Plus there's more animations etc, i can't wait for this update myself :D

This is from Issextreme.com, notice the date:

Konami have announced some details about the new Winning Eleven game for the American market. The most important being that the game is scheduled to be released on the 19 Feburary 2004, further details below:"

Details are indeed below, check out said site to read them. Seems they are adding lots of teams by the looks of it, but the gameplay will probably be more like Pes 3.1.

Come on, that sounds like all people who don't have a modded Ps2 don't love the series. I do, and no modchip here.

90% of peoples who love rare and most unique games, surely have their PS2 modded, coz many games never been released outside japan. You don't know what you miss isslander, if don't have modded your PS2.
