Here it is, the first PES3 patch with sponsored kits, of course Jonboyos work :)

Installation.

what you need -1)ppfomatic3
2)cdmage
3)nero

1) open up your working original cdrip bin/cue of pes3 (any rip will work?as long as it works without a patch but make sure it is mode 2/2352 ) in cdmage then extract the data_e.afs (keep cdmage open)

2) Patch the data_e.afs with jb12.11.03kits.ppf using ppfomatic3
(remember file is not an iso...so change file type-to any file in box in ppfomatic)


3) Patch the patched data_e.afs with jonboyos all ripkit 28.10.03 patch ---jbfiledataup28.10.03.ppf (or any other patch which can be applied to the data_e.afs ? ideally not one which changes kits!)

4) Import this back into the image in cdmage- Right click on the dara_e.afs in cdmage then ?import? the newly patched (x2) file.

5) Once that?s done import the sles file included with cdmage as before right click on original sles listed and import the one in patch ...which ensures collars etc in the kits are not messed up.

6) Now either import ?ps2man1.6over.afs?- recommended since default kits are not turned on or u could import the new ?pesfanv4OVER.AFS? which has default kits so u will have to unlock the option in editing then use non default kits.
NOTE- without an xport with the original pesfan/ps2man ->team names NOT correct,so get one!...or fix them in game.

7) Scan for errors and repair any sectors, and/or use eccregen to check for errors then repair them.

8.) Burn as slow as possible in nero or whatever works for you.

I recommend to apply it with the "Jonboyo 28.10. all ripkit", read the readme file of the kit patch in order to avoid errors with applying 2 patches on 1 image ;)
It works great for me, seems like the transfer mode is already unlocked.
Hertha Berlin has Stuttgart kits, Feyenoord has only 14-15 players, team and stadium names are still default but beside this the patch seems great, much better than the weleaders patch for WE7.

The team names will be real if you use the ps2man1.6over.afs or the pesfanv4OVER.AFS, imported over the file OVER.afs

Use lomungtung to get the 28.10 patch. I did this last night. It took a while though.

It's 72.9MB. Check the lomungtung rules before taking anything or you could make a small mistake and get banned forever.

No, they won´t be real. They only will be real if you have an Option file from somewhere which has original names.

Each patch works for only the game they are made for. But someone should be able to modify certain bits of them to make them work for another game. Till then. no.

im currently using the jonboyo 25.10.03 patch, so am i right in thinking if i dl the 12.11.03 patch and patch it and dont delete my option file i will get real kits and real names? but if i delete the option file i only get real kits and poo names

how come you now have to use cdmage, when you used to just dl a ppf and patch??

er, if you look at the instuctions above, you'll see the answer to why you have to use CDmage. When he releases the full patch in about a week, it should be able to be applied using the simple method. This one is kind of a taster. Plus he's getting feedback and improving it too.

In your option file, you only have to go to the kits for all the teams which have had their kits edited and change them back to Default. This is the only way to see the real and licenced kits. The patch above includes the pesfan V4 option file as well as another one (not sure who by or how good - although it is the recommended one [probably due to the fact that you don't have to change all the kits to default using this one] ) so most of the names should be correct.
None of the pesfan ones yet are as 100% correct as they claim. But they are usable.

so what your basically saying is its prob best to wait for the full patch in a week or so unless you are really desperate?

It's up to you. I guess it makes sense to wait a bit. But some people can't wait :)

It's not an easy process though and you have to be careful.

Any screenshots available? Can't someone start an official 'Patch Screenshot' thread so that we can check out what the different patch producers have accomplished? A couple of screenshots and maybe a little sticky to the 'read me' contents file of each patch? You never know, seeing the patches in 'action' might get more people into patching! Anyone got the means to do this (digital cam etc)??

Do you know what sort of equipment is needed? It's easy to take pictures of your T.V but the quality is usually crap. Real screenshots through a PC would be cool!
