Recently I have started the Master League and I was kind of baffled by the Transfer Points.

Can anyone please advise how much Transfer Points is available for our disposal when we commence the League. I am sure there is Cap.

You can go on just till -9999 points then the game will be over! But by winning games you earn a lot of points, points you can later spend on buying players.

Just look at the option: trade players. With a little amount of money you call great players to your squad.

When you when the league, cup ,goals scoring or goal assists you earn points as well!

Trading can be expensive as you end up paying for the player in your own squad. and the player you give in exchange.

The cheapest way to pick up players is as 'Free agents' during the last 3 negotiation rounds in the season. You don't have to play their current club a transfer fee, just agree a salary with the player himself.

Players available for this kind of deal will be in their last season under contrack (Remaining Time = 1). You only get these players at the end of the season though, when their current contract runs out.

Basic details - you start with 2000 pts and can raise more by putting useless players from the default squad on the 'Release List' - so other clubs will make you offers for them.

I thought the rules of ML meant you can't go beyond -14000 pts at any point, and can't start a new season in the red. The actual numbers are in the ML game under the 'About the Master League option'.

The first weekly salary in ML that you pay to the default squad is 638 pts, but if you reasch Div1, because that's twice as long as the Div2 season, the weekly wages are spread out, and you can afford to pay higher salaries.

Cup runs are great for piling up pts because you pay players weekly, after the league games, the cup games are 'free' (no salary deducted after those games).

Cellini, I still don't get it. I can understand that we start off with 2000pts. If I am not wrong, that is supposed to be our fund to be use for paying the players' salaries. My confusion lies with the Transfer Fee. For instance, I tried to buy C.Ronaldo the other day, I remember I was asked to pay a transfer fee of some 4000 points. On the right side of the screen, there are 4 buttons for me to adjust the transfer fee. This is where I am stumped. Should I increase the transfer fee to say 10,000 to avoid frustrating the deal or am I being too extravagant. And where does these transfer points came from. Having used 10,000 how do I know what is my balance. I am sure we are not allowed to spent the Transfer Fee liberally without any limit on each negotiation.
