Hi jonmears. Some people have been having problems downloading from pesfan and this is the reason for sharing the link. I'll edit to change it now. Don't worry about credit, everyone knows that it's your name file to start with.

There are no problems with downloading from pesfan as you don't download it from pesfan, people may have a problem getting it only because they didn't reg with pesfan.

The pesfan option file kits are in a bad state. They were rushed in the making of the files so it's understandable. I'll be offering them my edited kits for their next updated files which should be available in less than a month.

Ok Zyg, I´ve a little problem. I wanted to play ML with Juve, with the latest option file from pesfan. The team is up to date, but I wanted to edit some players. But I cannot find the Juve players Appiah and Maresca anywhere. They are at Juve when I look in the team line-up edit, and when I´m searching for them with the ML searching option they are at Juve too. But I cannot find them anywhere in the player editing, I want to change apperance and abilities.

Erm.. I'm not too sure but I know that they will probably be at their old club in edit mode. If not, then check the created players boxes.

I know that already, I have checked their old clubs, I think Maresca´s old club is not in the game, he played in England 1st divison somewhere I think, Appiah was at Brescia, but now he isn´t anywhere, even not at the created players boxes. With the other 2 new players at Juve (Miccoli and Leggrotaglie) there were no problems, I found them at their old clubs.

Editing the V2 option file.

Congratulations on choosing our V2 option file, we strongly recommend you red the following text before editing any players. Failure to do so could result in your national teams being irrevocably altered.

Due to the nature of PES3’s transfer system, updating the club transfers has only been possible by moving players from club to club, and overwriting some players who no longer have a club with created players.

The problem is that when you transfer a player (say Crespo from Inter Milan to chelsea) for all intents and purposes in the game he is now at Chelsea.

BUT

In the modify player section he is still, and will always be, at Inter Milan. You can alter his player name, appearance, or anything else you like, and they will always be associated with that player…but he will still be at Inter Milan.

Why am I explaining this? Here’s why.

Many of you will want to edit WE united and PES United to create new teams.

Well I have good news and bad.

Due to the large number of International players who no longer have a club (but still have to be in the game to avoid making a mess of the national teams) these players must be stocked somewhere.

You can transfer them to unregistered slots in any club team, but doing this makes them available for selection by that team in the master league.

So what I have done is Transfer all these players who you cant overwrite into Pes United.

DO NOT OVERWRITE ANY PES UNITED PLAYER DOING SO WILL SCREW UP YOUR OPTION FILE

The WE united squad however is fully editable.

BUT it is not the default WE United squad, its 31 players who no longer have a club side, but are not International players. To edit them you must go to there origonal team and edit the player there. The following list will tell you which players can be edited, and the team they originate from.

thanks Zyg but this does not really help me. Can you do me a favor and try to edit the appearance of Appiah or Maresca from Juve ? And when you have it post how you´ve done this.

EDIT: Problem solved, they are at ManCity for some reasons in the editing screen, but when you play they are at Juve, so everything is ok.

pesfan are on version3 already!!! but they unlocks some cups, which is a bit of a let down. i would have preferd to have done it my self

They had to do that to unlock the player transfer mode. There may be a way to transfer certain data onto another memory card and not the cups but I haven't tried it yet.

There is a new option file being created at ISSextreme to make up for the shortcomings of the pesfan file. Players won't be messed around with like the pesfan file. I'll post a link when it is available.

Till then, here is a slightly fixed version of the pesfan V3 with some work done by me:
