Zyg, what have you changed then ? Does this option file still have problems ? When will the issextreme one be available ? Is this going to be the best option file available ?

My changes to options files are mainly making nicer looking kits. I'm not sure when the issextreme one will be ready - they are working on correcting all the player numbers.

What did you think of it ?

It would be useful if the guys at pesfan listed the players that have been created to new clubs like malouda, essien, appiah etc ,where they are in the edit screen.
I know appiah is at man city and essien is at hamburg i think, but i can't find malouda anywhere to edit his boots.

Zyg would it be possible if i sent you my updated V3 option file, for you to edit the strips that are bad to make them better, like the brazil one which is rubbish in the V3 file.
And send it back to me ?

Or is there somewhere to find info on how to do the strips myself ?

Zyg, I was wondering if the ISS Extreme option file is gonna have updated formations, or is it just the aesthetics and players that are being improved?

georginho, I'll add my kits to your file and put it back on here. But I still think that the issextreme file will work out to be better than the pesfan one so it may be worth saving your effort for that one.

I think the issextreme one should be fully updated. They are sorting out the players. We can add to that the pesfan flags, my kits and georginho's boots etc to make a great file.

I'm just looking forward to a nice clean option file with all the players done, updated transfers and (most of all) accurate starting line-ups for club and national teams.

Without me having to do anything.

Not too much to ask is it? :p

I thought it was a very good file still, I havent tried Stuttgart yet so I didnt know about that though, Theres still a hell of a lot of effort gone into it so good work.

I'd like to see a future version where players stats are updated aswell, I think the stats are shocking, What happened to using Championship Manager stats on the players?, People like Pirlo at Milan have rotten stats and yet hes also an international?!!

On a seperate note aswell is it possible to ever get the real kits in for teams so Man U would have vodafone on the shirts like the few licensed teams?, If there was an update with all the official kits, stats and names and squads it would be absolutely awesome!

Ive just been on it again and your wrong, The Stuttgart team is correct and apart from the odd name spelled wrong which is very rare (rochembach of sporting should be rochemback type of thing) everything else is correct and awesome!

The reason you thought there were West Ham players at Stuttgart must have been when you were looking to edit players, Some players appear on dif teams when editing as it does not take into account transfers that have been done, All players will be on original teams hence some edited players will be at the wrong club on the edit screen, Start a match or league or cup or whatever though and you'll find they are all correct :)

The only way to get these real kits onto the game is through patching it. To play a patched game, you need a chipped/modded PS2 and be able to download, use and burn the patches. This is what most of the new threads are about - people trying to sort out the kit patching issues. Option files only contain what can be edited using the in-game edit mode.

georginho, sorry I haven't been around lately. Any news on the issextreme option file? I have your option files. I can apply my kits to them - should I just do this to the latest version? Cheers for all the work in fixing the file.

Ah I see, I dont have a chipped PS2 and dont fancy doing it so I'll stick with it as it is!, Still very impressed with the file overall though!, Been hammering the club teams since I got it!, May update a few player stats here and there over time myself.

I have got a ‘backup’ copy of PES3. My problem is that when I download the option files available on pesfan website they do not work. I presume this is because I don’t have an original. Does anyone know of any option files that will work with my ‘backup’ copy?

Tommy, I think you mean you have the beta version of PES3? If so, there are a couple of option files near the start of this thread that should work. None of the beta option files work on the full version and the same goes for the other way around too.

I think the only beta option file in this thread is the one at http://forum.pesinsight.com/showpost.php?p=29475&postcount=6. You should get hold of the full version of PES3 - a better looking ball, Juventus and Feyenoord are licenced and it's nicer! Plus all the latest option files will work too.
