PES3 patch - Freeze on kickoff

I have downloaded the "jb 1.12.03anyripkit patch" patch (the only JB patch I could find on the ftp). I followed the instructions, and managed to create a patched PES3 cd. Everything works perfectly except one thing, It ALWAYS freeze on kickoff!

I don't know what I have done wrong. I ripped the PES3 dvd with some "confusion/flash" rip kit I found in the dvd rip guide on the forums.

Any tips?

You need to apply one patch on top of the previous ones - however, JB 1.12.03 seems the first patch.

yes I tested for errors, there was none.
I downloaded with dialup, it took a VERY long time. So I don't think I want to download more patches.

I put some new kits, a scoreboard, and a new ball into the patched DATA_E.AFS (with WEmodcenter) before I burned it. Could this be the reason?

I only have one blank CD left, so I want to be sure before I try again.

By the way, is there any other ripkits I can use to rip the DVD?

It probably is the stuff you inserted into the game (most likely the ball) I have had this problem before.
If you dont mind try inserting the ball from the original patch and see if that works. or what was the ball you inseerted?

The ball is a "roteiro", I inserted it over ball 1 wich was just the original PES3 ball. Ball 2 was a new ball included with the patch. But when is ball 1 used and when is ball 2 used?

well you made an error during the manual editing, check the beginners editing guide for further informations, there are some tricky points you have to pay attention to.

The golden rule of manual editing is creating a new filesize.afs file to insert into the image when you have edited. Insert the ball etc using WEPESGraphic Studio instead and then when you're finished just right-click on the AFS files in the window on the left and you have the option to create & export filesize.afs. Do this and then import the new filesize.afs over the original one in CDMage. It will come up with a warning that you should just ignore (something about file being truncated).

Good luck.

Well not totally cause the Filesize plugin is just new. In the PES3 time you didnt even had a File Size option. But its true its the finishing part of all your editing steps you shouldnt forget, but also assign Transparency, palletes, music files etc correct cause no matter if you make a filesize if you didnt assign this correct the chance is big that the game will freeze.
