I´ve played a couple of matches now on the PC, first of all it´s a great feeling for a PES/WE fan to see it on PC, it´s just great.
There are 4 teams, Germany, England, Italy and Spain, 2 Stadiums, Anfield Road and a Japanese one, the menus are the same as on PS2.
You can change the resolution from 640x480 to 1200x1024, and you can change the detail level. It´s also possible to configure the controller. That´s all in the options.
In the pre-game screen you can change the difficulty and the stadium, and of course the line-ups. 5 min game.
Dunno if this is the final demo or a beta demo coz the ball is white what will be an indicator that it´s the beta, like on the PS2.
Now to the game: Even with a P4 2,5 GHZ, 256 MB and a Radeon 9000 with new drivers and DirectX 9 it
fuckin stutters. Had to turn down the settings to 800x600 and high detail to play normal.
As I said the ball is white, the sound when the players hit the ball is awful, but this can be different with other soundcards. The gameplay seems to be the same, the controls are even with my 10 Euro cheap Bullfrog Gamepad fine, but to me it´s faster than the PS2-Version, have to find out if I can slow down the speed with changing the refresh rate of the monitor.
That´s all I have to say at the moment.
btw the ftp-server is down so the only chance to get this demo now is edonkey/emule/overnet or bittorrent.

Here's my mini review anyway :)

It plays just like the PS2 version, exactly like it in fact. I found it hard as i haven't got a controller for my PC so i had to use the keyboard. By default the controls are:

W is triangle
A is square
D is circle
X is X
Q = L1
Z = L2
E = R1
C = R2

obviously you can change these.

The graphics are much sharper than the PS2 version, i ran it @ a resolution of 1024x768 and it ran very smooth, although it did slow down occasionally.

The teams you can select in the demo are England, Germany, Italy and Spain.
You can select all levels of difficulty 1-5 stars, although its set to a 5 minute game, you do play both halves though.
Also you can choose Anfield (thanks for correcting me mate lol) and also the Sapporo Dome as your stadiums.

Oh and it is only an early version of the game, white ball etc. There's different music in the replays too which is cool.

first of all.. great game!
First time i've played a Konami game since ISS1 on PS1 so it took a bit of time to get used to (on the keyboard)

it runs smoother than fifa without any stutter at all, which is nice.

just one problem is the fact my settings dont save when i quit the game :( hopefully someone can patch this or something.. or i suppose i can wait for november

oh and i find the sliding tackles to be very hard to do, if you touch the player, 80% of the time it's a foul. It is rewarding though when you get the ball.

2,5 GHZ and 256 RAM is fine, I have the same configuration, but the graphic card is the important thing, right click somewhere on your desktop, then go to properties and then to the right option, there you have infos about your display and somewhere over there must be something about the graphic card.
I have an ATI Radeon 9000 and I can only play at 800x600 without slowdowns, Radeon 9600 or newer would be ok for that game.

yeah i have only got an Intel(R) extreme graphics 64mb. So maybe thats why its slow.

where did you get the demo? I'm having problems getting it from edonkey/overnet, and the other links didn't work either
