PES3-PC Version

Well, I have just downloaded the PES3 PC demo Version on my PC.
It takes more than 2 1/2 hours to download the demo. Hoping that it would perform better than ISS3 after reading the explosive interview, I could not belive it. The action is really really slow reminiscent of ISS3. Unfortunately, I could not open up the Setting file to tone down the resolution. Without doubt, the graphics is extraordinary, much better than the PS2 version but the speed is something else.

Is there anyone out there who is able to run the demo well without any compromise to the graphics. Perhaps you could advise me on your PC spec as I really like the PC version without the stutter.

Milo....managed to take some cool snap shots of the game in action with fraps. Ain't played around with the video capture much, but some pointers would be great, I got the virtual dub thing too..so let me know if you can, the best stuff to do. Check out these pics though, its the demo, unedited, Italy Vs England...surprised how well they came out in high res too.

Ok, I'll give it a try, but what game res are you using? and how much AA or AF you using too? if any?

I started playing at 1024 res with full settings but for the sake of recording I use 640 now. tbh it still makes the ps2 version look sh1t, I can't believe how fuzzy it is when you go back to it.

HEHEHE yeh, thats the first thing I noticed, when i went back to the PS2 version...it looked pants, cos 1024X768 on the PC, with all the trimmings turned on makes it look incredible. Ever though of investing in an VGA lead for the PS2? it can hook it up to your pc monitor and use double the res the PS2 runs at...that may be worth an investment. Anyway, i just tried a few recordings on 640 res and medium detail...gonna run it through VD now.

Ok, well I have managed to get it running at a respectable speed and not looking too bad. problem is, is that this demo version of fraps is very limiting, so cos i recorded in 640, it reduced the size to 320 cos it only lets you record half the size...you can only record 15 seconds of footage, and it has the demo mark on the finished video....I'm gonna need the full version!!!but I think I got the gist of this now.

I only use 1.9......I just do the stuff I listed. I don't need over 15 secs for a goal anyway.

It's all about the graphics card. I have a slightly out of date computer (1.5Ghz) but a good graphics card (Radeon 9600Pro) and the games runs like a dream, easily better than any other game I've played. I put FIFA 2004 to full details and PES3 to full details and PES ran so much smoother (at least 20FPS more) and with better, crisper and cleaner graphics. This game is so perfect (once the frame rate is stablised) it's incredible! I suggest to anyone who's thinking of upgrading their computer to buy a Radeon 9600Pro because it makes a huge difference.
