Hi, i would really appreciate if you gusys could help me out. I am going away soon and have 2 questions i would love to be answered, and here they are: When editing a badge on PES3 e.g try to re-create the Madrid badge will it stay on the shirt if it is edited? and finally: Can you change the number of a CLUB player in edit mode? Thanks

Yes, the badge will be on the shirt. It matches what you set to be the flag. You can set it to be on the left, right or centre of the player chest or turn it off.

Yes you can change all club and international players' squad numbers.

Is it me, or are the kit/badge editing options much more limited with WE7?

Konami hasn't provided any flags that reasonably approximate the real ones, and the design editing template with symbols doesn't look very useful or user-friendly, either.

Just an observation...admittedly, I haven't ventured deep into editing b/c much of the text is still in Japanese and I don't have much reason to with forthcoming patches, but, from what I have seen, editing does not look as easy as in prior versions of PES/WE.

I'm not sure I know what you mean by 'samples'...

Konami provides 64 flags, in addition to the default flags and national team ones, but none of them resemble any real life flag that I know of. When you go into flag editing, nothing screams at you like, "there's the Real Madrid flag; I just need to change colors and delete some lines." That was the case for a bunch of the flags in PES2.

You can also create a flag from scratch, but the pattern options that I've seen don't look too useful, even though there's something like 8 pages of different patterns in the editing section. Maybe some creative editors can utilize this function to get the flags right.

Lastly, you can change the fonts for any text on the flag, which is new - although, again, not sure how useful this is.

On the other hand, the kit editing, which I have tinkered with, provides less editing options than past versions of PES/WE, but you can the vast majority of the clubs to look like the real deal. Unfortunately, the color options are significantly less than what was in PES2.

In all, there's like 4-5 kits I've had trouble with, either because the right color isn't available, or because none of the editing designs work very well.

<I>So alot of the club kits in PES3 resemble the real thing?</i>

I'd say the editing option allows you to make 90-95% of the kits reasonably accurate. Some you can approximate better than others, of course.

The kits I've had major problems with are the Ajax home, Barcelona away, and Juve away.

You can click on the Edit button to change or delete your own posts.

How come you are asking the same question again?

THanks m8. One question when you change a team shirt will the create badge stay on there?
No problem. :)

You can edit kits so that the badge is in the middle of the shirt, in the upper right portion of the chest, or in the upper left portion of the chest. You can also choose to leave the badge off completely. You have those 4 options.

This is the case for default badges/flags or edited ones.

Stuart, you can edit your previous post by going to the bottom right hand corner of you 'post box' ie where your comment is read and click on "edit" so you don't have to post again.

I can't imagine there being too much trouble with flags - won't you be able to load your own option file like you could from PES1 to PES2? I know there are a lot of new teams but this would 'lighten the load' so to speak. Any confirmation on this from teh WE7ers would be gratefully received! Assuming you can find your way round the menus well enough ;)

They should really know. If you edit the badge then the new badge should be on the kit.
