Hey guys,
I need to have the 0_sounds.ppf and e_sounds.ppf files for my game and patch to work, I downloaded the patch and was really excited to get it going but it did not seem to have these files?!?

Can anyone help me aqquire these files please, it would be a great help!!
Thanks!
Those 2 files are found in the download links that were provided

Sound Patch/music.rar contains 0_sound.ppf
Call Names.rar contains e_sound.ppf

Ignore last posts, u seem to have anyway, I have managed to unzip the file and patch it on. One problem, the .ppf files didn't come included in my patch. Are these found in the 'Sound add on' and 'Call names add on' at the beginning of this post?
See the above post mate

Unfortunatley i have found various bugs with the patch.

First off, when starting a new match, it sometimes quits automatically and takes me back to desktop....
I am getting the same problem...I have reverted back to the original 0_sound.afs file and will try and run the game again.
The game seems to kick me out just as the match begins and the CD image in bottom left corner is about to disappear.

I was wondering, it shouldn't make any difference if I am trying to patch the French version of the game? After all I only patched the 0_text.afs file with britishpatch.dkz?

Just looking at the files that the british patch updates or modifies, these are located within the cd. For example d:\program files\konami\pro evolution soccer 4\dat\0_sound.afs etc (where d:\ is the cdrom drive). So am i right in thinking that you should be able to patch these files, copy them to the cdrom pack it up as an image and install it from scratch, for further use maybe. Im playing with it now as ive had problems with dkz studio, it keeps crashing and doesnt seem to patch correctly.

I'll post back later and see whether this works. I know wolf did something along these lines (i assume so) with the we8/pes4 patch he created.

I would also like to mention the copyright issues involved within this and other patches that have been created. I assume that konami know about these patches? It might sound a little silly, but ive heard recently that a number of game modders have been sued and issued with cease and desist orders for modding games such as doa: vollyball for making nude skins!! Also 3Drealms have stopped a mod team making a full mod of duke3d for the ut engine. If im scaremongering then just tell me STFU.

oh btw if you are experiencing problems when loading a game in pes4 with the patch on i think it is due to a gfx glitch dealing with hi textures in the game.

Download 3danalyze

Then do the following :

Run 3DAnalyze:
1. Open 3DAnalyze, click 'select'.
2. Select pes4.exe in c:/Program Files/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 4 folder.
3. Check the 'emulate hw tnl caps' and 'force sw tnl' options.
4. Click 'RUN'.

That should fix the problem, it did for me.

okay then STFU :D
and you don't have to patch or burn files back to the cd, this is a PC so you have the files on your hard drive
