PES 4 Classic all star patch

Allright.I decided to give it to all of you who watch a n old classic game and wonder where are those days!
Includes 202 classic teams national and club with authentic formations (3-2-5! etc)
The database of players done by me except the 2 bundesligas made by martso at pes4.de with the kits.
I use bebeto's usa 94 patch but i correct many mistakes on the players All credits for usa 94 kits goes to him
The most kits are from classicos 2004 and a great thanks from all of us goes to mauras and his legion
Many litlle things done by all of you and thats an example what we can do all of us together.

The 0_text and e_text folders includes some files that you have to insert to your 0_text
and e_text
Just put the others (kitserver folder.pes4.exe,opmov file,save folder)in the place
of those that in your pes 4 directory.

The names are all right if you use the pes4.exe that i gave above.
About the flags i didnt change some so that the nationalities of players looks right. if i put greece flag in the place of australia then the australian players will become greeks.Now i made greece the australia but the nationality flag for all players in the game is right.I didnt know what to do about it so i decide to do it this way to get over with it.Maybe i should put those flags and screw the nationalities i dont know really.
About the stadiums i didnt change anything so you have the stadiums that you had before and i dont know of course which they are.You have to rename them by your own in-game.

I just wondered if you can create my team Olympiacos CFP of the 70`s?Because you already have Panathinaikos of 1971,and AEK Athens of 79,95,and 03.

It would be just great for me if you can create the original 70`s team of Olympiacos!!!!

Hey Leo 21, great patch, although I don't play PES on PC, I used an editor to look through it. Almost all the classics I intended to create are here.

Just a couple of questions, is Nehonta of Czech Republic supposed to be Nehoda?

Is Jimmy Johnston, "Jinky" Johnstone? If so he's height is only 165cm, not 180 something.

And is Bloodsflower of Spurs meant to be Blanchflower?

Also they are some seriously underrated classics such as Charles & Meredith.


I'm a bit of a perfectionist when I create classic players, so I noticed all the wrong info, I'm sure you got the player stats from other sources.

Anyway, I don't want to take anything away from your achievement, I am forever grateful. YOU are a legend!

For Johnston i mean that one that was born in 1944 and played for 14 years in Celtic.Also he played in national team between 65-75 for 23 times.Let me know if he's the one.

Allright man.I saw your thread and i think your stats is a bit overrated and thats gonna cost you a problem.Your players will not have a character.You know we re talking about past years when every player had some very good abilities (over 90) a few good abilities (over 80) and some or many disadvantages (abilities lower than 80 and 70) and thats why every player stay in history as a good header or playmaker e.t.c.
You ''see'' them with a lot of 80s in the stats and if you ll create much of them it wont count if you ll be using the one or the other.
I think Meredith and Charles are very good if you ll test them in-game.And dont forget they were from Wales which it means they are tough players with some abilities for every one of them.My resources telling me that Meredith had perception,technique,and scoring of course for making him great and Charles was a ''heavy'' player and a great header.
Maybe what i heard for those far away from Wales is more close to the truth.
Anyway i told you that for helping you.Post any thoughts..
Maybe we will work together for pes5!

I guess it all comes down to perception, it depends on whether they are judged on how they played back then, or how they would figure in the modern game. When I create players I take into account the modern game, but they should make as much impact as they did whenever they played, but I do hear your point. And anyway, I hate overrated players. Alot of the players I have posted are drafts till PES5 comes out, so if people have better ideas for the players then I can amend them or look into it. But so far they have been well received.
I create classic players for myself so it is imperative for my own sake that I feel I've got them fairly rated. All the players I have created are well researched cause that's what I'm interested in. Some of the players I intend to create haven't been created by anyone, so surely someone making them is a plus, overrated or not!

So here's a question for you: Do you think players like Beckenbauer or Bobby Charlton would make exacly the same impact if they were playing now? If the answer is veering towards a no, then why haven't you altered their stats? I thought that for many of the players, you tracked down the stats but if you created them all yourself then you're bound to make mistakes or wrong decisions, which you have! Also I've spent months researching these players, if you did the same then you would have released this patch for PES 10!

Another aspect is that it really does depend on the ability of the PESplayer not the created player, people on this site play master league on six stars with the default team, and still win easily.

Just to the point of Charles & Meredith from my perspective, Charles was recently rated the best export to Serie A, over Van Bastern & Platini, which must say something & Meredith was one of the best british footballers of the whole 1900's, won a senior dribbling contest aged 10, and was voted in the top 50 european players of all time. Not bad for someone who played 85 years ago!

It seems we have a difference in opinion about the stats, both justified so I guess they're is no right answer. Thanks for not holding back, it's all constructive!

Jimmy "Jinky" Johnstone played in Celtic's 1967 European cup winning side, so yes that is probably meant to be him.

Here's a few player names that I noticed that need correcting:

Nordkvist should be Nordqvist
Nordal should be Nordahl
Hanes, Johnny - should be Haynes
Altobeli should be Altobelli
Ocvirk should be Ocwirk
Mcalister should be Mcallister
Plat should be Platt

Pfaff the Belgium keeper should not have 90 for technique, more like 60-something.
John Barnes was left-footed with a good right foot.

Do you want me to post here when I start the thread? Although we have a difference in stat ratings, I will spend time on getting appearances and physiques(height/weight) right, so that should help you.

Look,after played a lot of games with the classic teams that konami create,i see no reason for changing their players stats.So i create others with these stats as example.And works real fine,believe me.
About Pfaaf you know he did the easiest intervention looks difficult.And you can do a goalkeeper be this way if you rate his technique above 85.Do you know something else to do for looking like this?
And yes your big help will be the appearances if a new classic patch begin.Cause the appearances will be different and if you ll help me this patch will be done much earlier.
Id like to tell you that im doing it for years from pes2 and i was not alone so im the only that i can do this for pes5 before pes6 comes out.To do all the appearances is a miracle for me cause every year the in-game editing changing.So,hope to hear from you when pes5 comes out.

Ok, I hear your points, I only want to help you cause what you've done thus far is amazing. I don't wanna dwell on this who's right/who's wrong sh*t any longer.

Finally, I realised that both players I said were underrated were Welsh, so you probably thought I was from Wales and totally biased. Not so.

You have to insert the files that are in these two folders into your 0_text.afs and e_text.afs with afs explorer.I hope that you know how to do that..
