I work at the Nottingham Virgin Megastore and i checked all the other store's inventory, none of them have any on order or demand? Maybe release has been put back? We have actual game release down as 15/10/04

I just spoke to Virgin in Picadilly Circus and they said it's out next friday. An absolute joke delaying it so close to the release date especially after the similar fiasco with the PES3 demo. I expect they'll be a lot of disappointed people wasting their time and money visiting Virgin stores up and down the country today.

It's not exactly a major surprise that's it been delayed, if it was on time then I'd be in a state of shock. If they can't guarantee when it'll be available then they shouldn't advertise when it's coming out.

I actually just asked if the PES4 demo was out, didn't say ps2 or whatever. From the various threads on different PES websites I've read it seems to be just for ps2 but the press releases don't actually mention which systems the demo is out for.

Not that I'm doubting you BazHilder but where did you get this info from? I've got both PS2 and xbox so don't really care but a friend has only an xbox so I've been keeping an eye out whether it's just out for just the ps2.

Went into Virgin today and asked the guy behind the counter,He said we've not had a delivery,I said do you know when you will and he said no!

The Virgin in Chester didn't seem to know too much about the demo!
Although, interestingly enough, i thought id give GAME a call and they said they're sure they'll be getting it soon.

my bro went in to virgin(nottingham) today and the guy said the demo's out not this friday but the one after(1st oct) and it will cost one pound.

thats what my bro said. hopefully he missunderstood him. the guy may have said 'this friday' as in yesterday. however, there are also rumours on the main site that the demo might not even come out at all. and to be honest i'm not arsed anymore.

1. We don't know for sure what time the demo will be released, if at all.

2. Were not even sure if the demo will be released on all formats.

3. I (personally) dont even know were my local virgin megastore is.(I live in peckham(london).
Ive been waiting for this demo for so long.............

If its gonna be released on the 1st October then whats the point in getting it if the game is out on the 17th of October. I'll be checking this friday (24th) im sure it'll be in then,cos someone said it was confirmed for the 24th , if its not out then then i may just wait for the game!
