PES4 Editting Faces - Help!!!

Hey people,

When I tried to give R. van Nistelrooy a small beard, I went to Edit Mode. When I confirmed that I wanted to edit his head, he was instantly made bald. Whatever I tried, I couldn't edit his face without him being bald as soon as I wanted to edit him. This way, I have to remake his haircut, hair color etc. if I want to add a beard. Anyone knows what problem I'm talking about and how to solve it? I don't want to remake peoples haircuts when I want to add a minor thing like a moustache or a beard.

Thanx in advance!

You don't have to edit him.

Just go to Edit mode, Register player, National teams.

Select his default name and than change it with his real name.

Thanx dude, but that's NOT what I mean. I go to Edit Mode, Edit player, Manchester United FC, Van Nistelrooy and finally to Appearance.

I can choose the following options:
Head
Physique
Strip fit
Boots
Accessories

I select the option 'Head' and immediately Van Nistelrooy has a blad head. I don't want him to have that bold head, I only want to add a small "beard" (short but still noticable, as it has been shaved some hours ago). I can do that, but then I have to create Van Nistelrooy's hair again because it got lost in the process.

There's got to be a different way or did Konami put a huge bug in the game where you can't edit a head without losing the hair style? If so, I lost the will to slightly edit faces because it takes TOO MUCH TIME.

I hope someone can help me out with this and (with all respect) not give a reaction like Humanfly, which has nothing to do with my question.

I noticed this too and it's really bugging me. I don't understand why they would change this to make it more inconvienent so it is possibly a bug.

Is it just the hair that changes and not the face too? Maybe there are special appearance features for certain players and if you edit them, you have to make the whole thing yourself.

I think you might need to buy the hair editing in the PES shop first, otherwise players immediately go bald. Took me agest o figure out! Once that option is bought (before editing goal celebrations I think)...you may find it works.

It has to do with licenced players (of which RVN is one).It seems you can't edit licenced players appearances unless you start from scratch."Image rights" are involved somehow.

Damn I hope there is a solution for it, but I think you're right and the editting will be a lot worse for licensed players :(

It's also a pity that you can't change club names of licensed teams. I prefer AFC Ajax above Ajax, but maybe that's just me.

Only the hair changes Zygalski. And yeah, maybe you're right. Too bad it's difficult to create the same hairstyle since you don't know the exact hairstyle PES4 used on the player.

Some players have special hair/beards, that you can't make. eg diouf, hilldebrand, cocu etc, so it automatically makes every player bald when you want to edit their hair. Say for example you edited van nistelrooy's one of a kind hair, you would have to set him to default again to get that hair style back.

I also noticed they have shortened the options in the Edit Mode. Now you can choose only a couple of numbe of faces and that's it. Really a disappointment. While in PES 3 you were able to build a face so you could create a face to your choice. I really think that this is a big miss in PES 4..
