PES4 gameplay speed

Ok I know this is discussed in several posts but it got me confused and concerned.

I've been hearing all kind of different thoughts on the gameplay speed. Some say it's too fast which concerns me but others say speed it just perfect.

So I've looked for some gameplay movies and this is where the confusion comes in. i found two gameplay video's of pes4 (not we8). In the first gameplay speed was definetly way too fast , but in the latter it was just perfect.
(I could'n find the links back since it's been a while since I downloaded them but the fast game was between Juventus - Arsenal(14Mb), the good speed between Man utd - Barcelona(42Mb))

Can people who've already gotten their hand on the retail version of pes4 give me (and I'm sure there's alot of us who'd like to know) their oppinion of this.

ps. I'm used to the gameplay speed of PES3 so comparison with it would give me a better view on it.

thx

I've been told that it is faster than PES 3, which I thought was a bit of a bummer cos I like the pace of PES 3, but I'm told that this is for the better as you can make far quicker attacking moves with players darting around and making off the ball runs. I'm yet to play it but I think it will be ok.

Got the demo on the OPS2 mag today and it is totally different from the Virgin demo. The speed has been cut right down and it now plays absolutely perfectly. I thought the Virgin demo was much too fast. I can safely say that this is the best version yet. Period. I now think it plays a little slower than PES3 Hope this answers your query Kev

I posted numerous times about epople fretting about differences between previous games. I always said that it takes time to get used to...

P.S. I can't wait anymore.

P.S.S. Ordered Max Drive last night and i got an email this afternoon saying it had been posted. Wont get it tomorrow because there is no mail on Sunday. Maybe Monday or Tuesday!

one problem i find in the gameplay speed or what ive played of the OPS2M demo is that when you dummy the ball ( :square: then :x: ) is that they dummy it too fast! their arm swings so quick that it basically is too fast to fool the defenders! :(

My first post since about this time last year, caught up in the hype for PES3 :)

My only dissapointment with the OPS2 demo is the camera angle. I think its set to default on the 'long' one which isnt really all that impressive. I've only played about 3 times on it so I cant really give any decent detailled first impressions but the camera angle was definitely something I was annoyed by. Just felt out of perspective when doing things like shooting etc....but I'm going to have another go on it tomorrow and see if the camera angle can be changed and if its any better. But all in all, I'm very impressed.

It fools the defenders. It's just like on PES3, but quicker :)

just played the mag demo, the speed is grand, no problems. it is a bit easy to get it to the forwards feet, but then again this is a demo on friendly. im sure master league on six stars will be a different matter altogether

I agree ..I have played PES4 demo version for some days now .. The first impression: I noticed that the gameplay was faster compared to the previous one (PES3). But I need to admit that it is much better and it has its charm. The advantage is that you will be able to counter attack at a lightning pace and score more goals.
