Could've got the real PES4 today. Gonna have to wait until my ps2 is fixed.

Question: How is the commentating ? Still shite repetitive phrases, over and over and over and over and over and over ?

I think a few pages ago, it said that the commentary was questionable. Thats always been a weak point for Konami.

Guy on evo-web said that the commentary has some cool new phrases and it seems good. Initially. And then the novelty wears off quickly and it's back to the same old. Oh well.

That was a good suggestion for making horizontally striped kits - but what about vertical stripes?

Hello all, im back from a break off the forums...for those that remember me anyway :p

Bro in law got the game tonight, had a couple of games earlier. Looking good, I did notice some slight slowdown on corners again though, the same as we have on WE8 When I played PES4 beta at the PES3 National Finals the Konami bloke promised the slowdown would be removed which makes me believe its beta...

BUT saying that, my nephews PS2 is on its way out I think, quite a few games dont boot straight away any more. So it could be just be the laser on the PS2 that caused the slowdown...

Fake team names have changed from WE8. Man U = Man Red or something like that. Utd had Heinze but no Rooney. Kits seem updated too, at least Real Madrids seemed different anyway. My nephew wouldn't lend me his PS2 so I can't play it again until tomorrow grrrr!

dorval, didn't really look at the languages at the beginning, there seemed about 4 or 5 different ones. The usual, French, English, German, Spanish etc

But something worrying that was said, Wise. You said you felt pes4 was FASTER than WE8. If that is the case then it will be too fast!! I mean i'm sure others agree that we8 feels fast enough..but faster??? hmmmm.

its just feels like that to me bud....i mean ive had a go on this game on 3 different TVs 60hz and 50hz mode and it just feels like its pretty fast :/
