I've got the latest official Xbox mag here, the one with Sudeki on the front. There's no mention of Pro Evo at all, they've mentioned rumours of Xbox live in previous issues but nowt's been confirmed.

why does every one moan about the xbox pad its good for all the games ive got
i have my xbox ps2 gc and my pc even old machines like the dc and n64 jag and pc engine and i dont have a problem useing all these different pads just de program yourself from being a one brand man sony sony sony and screaming oh the ps2 graphics are better than the x box the controller oh and the games look better on the ps2 and exclusives get over it retards play games no matter what machine you play
if you like it buy dont moan because you have only one machine that you are stupidly loyal to games machines come and go enjoy them play more the next consoles already
ready to come out in the next 18 months the xboxnext ps3cell nintendo n5 are you gonna jump on the other consoles because you didnt buy them
are you gonna stick with a slow crap old smelly ps2 when the cell comes out if you are that loyal?
just play a game on any of the machines and if like it buy it

I was thinking of getting it for the PC, because I recently upgraded and I want to see how it handles it, and I hope the basic editing is easier, as well as easier patching etc. I have an adaptor as well to let me use the PS2 controller. I guess I'll get the PS2 version as well, if only because my wife rarely lets me use my PC (goddam PC hogs...) :(

and before you get self-righteous - i own both, and yes the x-box is a superior system and i will be getting PES4 for the box and not the PS2.

however, the crappy spring loaded triggers are for the same type of people who think plastic > metal because its lighter.

also, even the small X-box bad (my god i hope people aren't still playing with the big ones) are lame as that leaves you six buttons to operate with your thumb. 4 shoulder buttons are genius as they allow you to utilize your otherwise unoccupied middle fingers.

everbody do yourself a favor and get a PS2->X-Box controller adapter.

I am prepared to get a PS2-Xbox adapter but will wait to see how the S controller fairs. Surely the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Where are these adapters available & how much?

I Like The Fact That Konami Hav Licensed Alot Of Club Teams.also The Shooting Has Changed From Last Year.dirty Strips Well Shorts At Least.i Seen A Freekick From We8 It Looks Amazing.also Viera I Think Scoring A Scorcher 40+ Yards Out Into Englands Pitifull James.

Both games are scheduled for x-box as well, so what's the fuss all about???

I played PES3 on PC with s controller and it is totally OK. It takes a bit to get used to it but after few matches it's awesome :)

Yeh the new Controller X is perfect, it's a bit bigger than the PS2 one but it fit's in your hand perfectly, it's also confortable and easy to use the buttons!!

Doesn't anybody see the potential in the triggers of the S controller instead of just dissing them? They could be used to guage dribble speed, thereby doing what :R2: & :R1: & possibly :L1: do for control of speed, but it could be more progressive. What about using triggers for strength of aftertouch on crosses, shots & throughballs? I don't know if konami will implement these for the Xbox but it would be nice.

I already have a PS2, i dont like the Box' controllers (Ugly, heavy, irritating buttons)
I dont have any problem with loading times :) i just copy the game to my harddisk using hdloader and voila! Rocketlike loading times :p

Yes, the X-Box is a better console as such than the PS2, it was also released (more than) a year after the PS2.

I will be getting Pes4 for the PS2, and here is my reasoning.

1) I dont have an X-Box and dont intend on buying a console untill the next generation consoles arrive.
2) PES/WE was developed with the PS2 controller in mind, not the X-Box controller.
3) I have played a few hours with the original box pad, and didn't enjoy it. I dont know of any of the pads you talk of.
4) I dont really need Live! support. But thats just me.
