Ps2 version's of the game should be able to be patched the same way. Just read the tutorials an you'll be fine.

A searching box should then appear for a few seconds, then it should start importing the files
Once it has finished importing, click File-->Save as and name the file e_soundnew.afs and click save.
Wait for it to save.
When saved, close DkZ Studio and use My computer to find the pro evo 4 dat folder, default location is :

C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 4\dat

Once in the folder, rename e_sound.afs to 'e_soundold.afs'
Rename e_soundnew.afs to 'e_sound.afs'

And that should hopefully have worked.

Every version of PES be it on Xbox, PS2 or PC has the same file structure!

As long as you have the original disk then just follow the guides and try it, the method described above will work on any e_sound file regardless of what version it has come from. If it messes it up and you have the original then you haven't lost anything!

By the way, is anyone likely to seed this file. I have done numerous Google searches and come up with nothing, this file must of come from somewhere.

I found it with some ftp links, I am currently sat here watching Liverpool and AC Milan play.

It's a really good effort considering it's from a completely different game.

What FIFA is this from? I don't remember Mark Lawrenson doing FIFA commentary for the last two editions at least.

I agree this is a very god effort and must have taken a long time but however annoying Peter Brackley is I think his commentary is still better for the game.

There are loads of mistakes in this patch and a very limited amount of commentary - I played 10 odd games and only heard 3 different calls for free kicks and 4 different calls for goals. Anotehr very annoying point is after every goal Mark Lawrensen says, 'You still there John'? Although its a good idea I think its better to stick with the normal commentary for now.

Thanks for the links mate but I found it anyway. I just like the fact I can have English teams German teams etc actually anounced in the game now. I sat down and made a note of how much I have changed my Xbox version of PES4 and you know I reckon I could sell it back to Konami as it is a completely different game.

Oh dear, I don't really know what happened. As I was in a hurry I really do not remember what I did.One thing is for sure, I did not save the file. Now I have 4 commentators in the room.

Reinstall your game and download the patch again is the only solution.

Can I add this patch to my already patched pes? sorry I'm quite new to it, I have a fully working jonboyo's patch but I'd like to add this FIFA commentary to it, can I just add it or will this screw things up?
