PES4 X-Box My Review..

Firstly is it better?...not really no..its more or less a str8 port..ill go into abit more detail for people who have yet to get the game but wanna know anyhow

Firstly the loading times are much much much quicker in the XB version..a second if that and its loaded up

NO slowdown at all in the game

Graphics imo are actually abit rougher then the ps2 version strange i know..but i can deal with that..altho some of the pitches look strange..i dunno why?..maybe someone can tell me that one...

X-BOX live..its basic..but its not too basic..you have a huge league ranking table..you can challenge friends...etc..the normal faire..the games i have played so far i have experienced no lag at all..just like playing the game offline infact..its very fun online..i won my first ever match 2-1..and then lost 4-2 but i scored a 40 yard cracker with veron in that 4-2 loss game..

Its a pity though..there isnt custom made leagues where you and you friends can battle it out..or tournaments..so in that area fifa 2005 online does win that one im afraid..but i guess you can somewhat combat that with internet online leagues/tournaments

Overall i would have to say..if you have a x-box and you dont have pes4 yet..get it..its damn good on and offline..outta the two versions i would have to swing my vote probably for the XB version simply because of live

Some people just have a bad connection, and then online sucks really.
Every move you make, is done a second later, when you want to do someting else!

But that doesn't happen so much...

I have a x-box and a PS2. Perhaps it looks better on x-box and are the loading times shorter, in my opinion the controller of the PS2 is perfect to play PES.

Can't wait now, I have a T2 connection...so no lag for me!

Do people often leave, if they are losing? It's a shame if they do!

Definitely get the convertor!!! I have one on the way from Lik-Sang.

The Xbox controller is too awkward for PES imo. The D-pad isn't responsive enough, though strangely seems ok for all other games, but the analogue triggers are the biggest problem, along with having the white button as the equivalent PS2 R2 button.

To take a soft free kick ( shoot + up/down + white) is a real pain, you have to take your right hand off the controller so that you can get your fingers to the 'x' and white button. :/

Fox, the comment you made about the graphics looking rougher, may I ask what video cable you use with your xbox? is it the standard one that came with youir console?

Because i think those that are saying the Xbox one looks rougher may be becuase they are using an inferior video cable.

Yea it is the standard one..i saw a post about scart leads..and i am actually interested on this..as i never knew you could get a better picture with the proper scart sockets..i thought the standard one was all there was

7ronaldo7 i havent got a converter yet..so im just playing it with the x-box pad..its abit awkard but ill cope

I'm using an RGB scart cable (I know my cable stuff :)) and the graphics do look rough but I'd say identical to PS2. It's mainly noticeable on player close-ups as their outline is very rough, almost as if they've been drawn around with a pen!!!

By using the RGB scart as opposed to the composite Phone lead you will get improved definition (sharpness) but this does actually make the edges look rougher. The slight soft and fuzzy look when using composite actually blurs the edges of the players a bit.

who cares about the graphics? as long as it is not much worse than the playstation 2 version I will not be complaining. As long as the gameplay, which is the core of the game, is unchanged it will always be worth the buy.

I thought they limited the custom controls?

Generally speaking though, you will be better off with an RGB cable, Fox, it does improve the sharpness, and also corrects/improves the colour a bit, makes them look more "true".
