A joint effort between one of our french users, mouf, and I, has now produced the largest online PC PES4 rankings system; that is also the first to be full automated.

Currently the channels covered are the UK, Europe, France and Hong Kong pes4 channels. More will be added based on user demand / how much the database can handle.
Every game in one of these channels are automatically recorded and added to the online stats for everyone to see. I know its not perfect for now, but a week ago I wasn't sure this was possible, but mouf came to me one day saying he has already created a parser to get results from mottymouth itself! I then set about creating a bot to extrac the results which he could run and do his website database trickery with to create the stats
There are certain requirements / rules to appear on the rankings; these are:
(1) Matches versus a "pes4guest" opponent are NOT counted
No beating helpless newbie guests to get easy wins and boost your rankings
(2) Matches versus nicknames with spaces or funny symbols are NOT counted.
If you try to enter a nickname like "Iamthe BEST". Then on pes4online it will appear as "Iamthe", but in match reports it will show up as "Iamthe best". So please check that your name is simple, unique, and doesn't contain spaces or * symbols etc. Don't play opponents with one of these bad nicknames either.
(3) Matches where a loser disconnects before the game is finished ARE counted.
If someone tries to quit when behind, their loss will still count against them. you have 10 mins in game to decide if it is too laggy and so should stop. After that time, If both sides agree that it is laggy at any point, make sure the score is equal before quitting out of the game. MY BOT NOW KICK/BANS QUITTERS AND RECORDS YOUR IP. So be careful, and don't quit when losing
(4) You must have played at least 2 matches for you to appear in the rankings.
This will raise over time so that you require a certain amount of games to appear on the rankings. This stops people from reaching the top then quit playing under that name to remain there
(5) 35% of your total games must be played as a client for you to appear in the rankings.
It is recorded whether you host a match or client a match. To appear in the rankings you must client AT LEAST 35% of all of your matches (this will likely rise in the future to between 40-45%). This stops people from only hosting games thus having an unfair advantage. If you can only host due to router problems; well, sorry, but everyone will agree that this is the fairest and easiest way. The % of games you have cliented is shown on the rankings (if you make the requirements for the rankings).
The rankings are updated quite regularly (every few minutes or so) but please do not hammer the website. The rankings are sorted by: (1) Total Points, (2) Win %, (3) Client % ; the higher the better in all cases.

A new pes4online version may bring about proper integration / registration to opt in / out of the rankings in the future. But that will be down to skn3, who is still busy moving house

Additionally; there are a couple of niggles that some people have over pes4online 2. Now again, without skn3 to create a new version theres only so much I can do, but there are workarounds for the 2 major problems.
pes4online slows down my game
For windows 2000/XP users: when pes4online is running, right click on the taskbar and select "task manager". In the "processes" tab, find pes4online.exe, right click it, "Set priority" --> "low". This helps a large majority of users.
pes4online randomly crashes during play
This is i think due to the Cursor Hack to change cursor speed in games. For now, make sure that this is switched off!!! Instead, download MPSO2.1 from http://www.celeborn.co.uk - this program I created does the same thing but doesn't cause the crashing.
Both issue's will be resolved with a new pes4online version in the future. For now, enjoy the rankings!!!
