I have lost any respect I had for EA Sports (none whatsoever, incidentally) after seeing one of their campaign ads for F*F* 06... "and Chester City are staying up! It's a miracle!". They obviously haven't seen the mighty Blues in action this season, in the top three of League Two.

They showed the advert today on Soccer AM but it's been banned 'cause at the end the groundskeeper runs over a cable and they said he would have died if he'd done that in real life. They're going to change the ending and it'll be out soon. It was pretty crap anyway to be honest

Stupid to cancel the add for the reason of the cutting the cable, but im glad they did. The add wasnt as good as it should be, so now theyre filming a edited version, so lets hope its better...

Just seen the ad.

I have to say, it looks like a very dubious decision to ban this ad.

Yes, the groundsman puts the machine (don't know what it's called) over the wires connected to the TV/PS2, but the ad doesn't actually show anyone getting hurt or anything being damaged.

Instead of banning it, they could've just put that ad later on at night. You know, after the watershed. Just in case little kids are watching (bless 'em).

don't know why they would ban it at all at the end the voice-over bloke says "try telling them it's only a game"there is nothing wrong with that is there
