PES5 Crashing Problem

Hi all,

Been playing PES5 since release with no problems until recently. I created a player and saved him. After that PES5 kept crashing the whole time when loading into a game. I had to remove all replays and my option file...game worked fine then. Today, was playing a cup, game froze and same problem. once again had to remove option file and replays to get it going. Tried reinstalling etc...made no difference.

Anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?

I've just started having exactly the same problem. Exactly the same as you - just created a player for the first time. Same symptoms etc - deleting options and settings solves problem until I try and go into a menu during the game or until there is a goal scored.

Would appreciate any advice.

Think i have got it sorted (thanks to a bit of web searching)...

The problem has to do with Replays. As this is a port from PS2, it seems that if you have more than 8mb of replays in any one folder..PES5 has a fit.

Solution, move your replays to different folders, split them up until there is about 10 per folder (or up to 8MB).

This sorted it for me :)
