Konami has released an updated demo (local US mirrror ~ 270MB) (now with full English commentary) for Pro Evolution Soccer 5, giving the chance to try out this upcoming soccer simulation game. As before, the demo allows you to play a match with: Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Valencia. The demo can also be downloaded from Tiscali Games.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but so far some say that it's "more playable" and dribbling has been made a tad easier... I doubt it but nevertheless it's good news... share ur impressions...

I just hope they at least improved the crappy commentary... Konami sure has to hire a new audio supervisor...

Now that they've amazingly tuned the gameplay, I can only hope for an improved audio... and saving any massive graphical improvement for next-genre is just smart...

Just downloaded it now.....and the commentary is very poor imo, its near about the same as pes4, apart from abit more enthusiasum(sp?) when a team score.
The all round gamplay is different from the other demo, as its easier to dribble around players now.

Yes there ain't no trainer out for it yet, but this kind dude ENERGIA from soccergaming forums has unlocked the options menu himself, and here's how he says he did it:

in fact, this demo is the first released demo by konami.
The second demo can be downloaded from the official pes5 site.
I think the final release of pes5 is similar to the second demo

Not hoping the dribling has gotten easier - it was hard in the first demo and that was good I think. If it's easier we're back to PES4 - waaaaaay to easy :(

I think it's a bit easier, but nothing like PES4. I would say the dribbling was even unrealistically hard in the first demo (or just me?), but it seems more realistic now - still being lot harder than in PES4. I dont care whether the game is hard or not, I want it to be realistic.

did the hex trick but ended up freezing my pc on the line up screen. probabily because i tweaked too much setting. oh well.

By the way, turning some options on could freeze the game like INJURIES, because the demo doesn't have the animations for it. But as regards changing the half-time there are no limitations to that...
