I have the demo and i must say im finding it harder to score with the short amount of time, but i wouldnt really say its harder to defend just harder to score goals.

same here in the demo i can never score more than 1 goal:angry:

To be honest, I haven't found scoring a problem on the demo. This is strange considering my computer isn't meant to play games on it really so the game is super slow and sluggish, not enjoyable to play, but I've scored wonder goals, one on ones, headers, the lot. Beaten teams 2-3 nil in the 45 minutes, not a problem. Then again in previous versions of Pro I have tended to be a bit boring and build from the back, I prefer this because it looks more realistic, my mates just run through all the time and it pisses me off! Thank God Pro 5 will stop this :D

The game is much better if it proves to be harder! thats what most of the long time players were asking for! a harder game and konami gave them it! Ive been struggling to score on the demo so far! Looking forward to the game though! best take your time to get used to the style of the game and in no time you'll be slotting the goals in without a problem!

The game being harder is a bonus !!

PES4 was far too easy making the Master League almost pointless.

It's way harder, its better for it. PES4 was way too arcadey IMO.

This game will reward people who really go out to play good football. Not just pick up one player and sprint thru. No more blind passes too, and it's great. Cut down on the effectiveness of chipped thru balls, and the R1 chip. No more cheap shots.

Yeah !!!!
Its harder to score or win a game in PES 5.
I found that I have to slowly play and think carefully when you have the ball, or else you may loss the possesion.
But that good also cos its hard to score and when finally you score a goal you will feel like SO GREAT I SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEAH

I dunno if harder is better! I don't really enjoy yhe master league because every team i play feels the same! the team at the bottom of the league plays exactly the same as the team at the top of the league! It is very frustrating becasue the AI team are happy to just sit back, defend and keep possession. It is really annoying creating decent chances but not scoring and then the computer finally puts an attack together and scores with ease! In my opinion they have made the AI too defensive! It isn't very enjoyable when you are playing as the default master league players! Might improve after I get to the transfer window!

It's way harder than PES4, the diference is really impressive. You've to pay attention to tactics and strategies a lot more than in previous PES, it really feels like real football.

Konami has done things right this time, i get bored of PES4 in three months beacuse of the "arcade" style they applied, now the defense and the midfield controled by the CPU are so strong! They keep perfectly their position and play really great, Konami has done a great job with the IA.

I used to trash every single team in PES4 with teams like Español or Spartak Moscow, now after 15-20 matches i've get about 10 draws, 4 wins and 3-4 defeats, just scored about 7-8 goals. It makes the game absolutely brilliant. I know it gets some time to get used to every new PES but this time i feel like the difficulty will remain months and months not just like PES4.

The great thing; I get mad when i score it makes me jump from the chair and scream goooooooooooal! That's what i expect from PES.

I'm loving PES5.

i think its better to start a master league with a team like barca like i've done as with the good players you can get used 2 it but still u dont win every game easily and whoever sead about the computer being to defensive its wierd cause every time the computer get the ball against me they always trying to get as far up the pitch as possible and always looking for goals and creating chances

ps john u aint goana beat me al spank u at it jus like when a won 5-1 ;)

I haven't tried the ML yet. Will be getting to that soon. Have played a few lose games, many training sessions and a Konami Cup with FC Barcelona (which I won on 5*). Currently reached the semi final of the Intenational Cup with the Netherlands (dispite the foul names, very good team to play with).

In my last four or five games with the Netherlands I was in total control of the game and only had to let 1 goal in. Won two games with 3 or more goals in my favour without conseding a goal. I played all games on a very relaxing pace. Just played the ball around and waited for chances. Once the opponent had the ball I also waited for a chance to intercept the ball. I did not hold the dash button to sprint after every ball or opponent. This just tires your players which eventually will cost you points because their preformance will drop dramatically during play..

* have patience and wait your chance
* control the ball before you pass
* pass alot, only run with the ball if there is enough space
* don't over exhaust your players

I see u'v chosen to start a master league with a good team then;) I'd probably start with either Arsenal or Barca since i read some people are having problems getting used to scoring etc with half decent teams.

ps That was just luck boyo, don't forget you'v been playing it more than me since that was my first time but i still beat you twice:cool:

Well thats true!
When you play PES 5 is something like real football and you have to be patient only you can win the match.

I believe that PES 5 teams have made a great job on improving the game.
