i've been trying to make several players myself but it comes out crap, to transparent or features in the wrong position, followed several different tutorials but it all ends up with the same crap face.

i had a try at jan venegoor of hesselink and robin van persie, any suggestions on how to improve them?

Its just a matter of practising, and when you 'match colour', if that's what you do, then don't make it completely pinky, hope you know what i mean, and when you change the size to 128x64 use the sharpen tool and set it to 50% and go over the image once, thats if you use Photoshop

And I agree with hitman; the world star players get 50 faces made for each of them and some players without a real face stay fake :(
