Ok, I bought PES5 and it sux big time! I have to agree with eclap on what he said in another thread.
First of all - the new stuff:
Ok, you can't go around with one player and dribble the whole pitch and score a goal, that's fine. But the response of the players to passes are pathetic. Every single attempt to kick a through pass through the middle of the field is a complete failure. Either the opponent player magicly turns around and block it without even making eye contact with the ball, or the player who's supposed to take the pass just looks at the ball and starts running away from it (well, not literally away from it, but they just can't make contact with the ball).
Second, the computer AI:
Oh, come on, it is dreadfull. For example: My players rush into a counter attack and shoot. The goalie saves and the ball goes to the computer player surrounded by my 3 players. Now the only logical action would be to kick the ball out of the pitch, for a corner or a throw in. But nooooo, he turns around, kicks the ball across the entire field, and without even knowing that his player is there, connects with him marveously, and the other player is 1 on 1 with the keeper, WHAM! he scores... That's just sad, what were the programmers thinking...
So much about realism
.
Also another really annoyng thing is the way of controling your players.
They just keep their eyes on the ball and let it pass by them so that the computer player can neatly score a goal. COME ON! Even a retard could just spread his legs a little and kick the !@#@!cking ball. And I'm talking about Chelsea players...
Now comes another dreadful aspect of the game, fouls:
It doesn't matter if there actually is contact, if I disposess the CPU, it's a foul. It happens all the time - you don't even touch a CPU player, it's a foul, next thing you know you get kicked in their box and nothing happens... It's simply annoying and stupid and #$@#$@#$...
What's so "realistic" in all this? If behaving retarded is what you call realistic then it's simply sad.
The programmers sure did a nice job in screwing up such a wondreful game. Nice work fellas!
