I'm downloading at an average speed of 15 Kb/s. This coming from a 2 Mb broadband connection.
I'm gonna have to leave my computer on all night to get this final update.hmy:

hmm i will try to download when i get home,
my connection is 20 mb broadband...well see if the torrent is fine ....cheerz
Ko_nami said:Yeah the download started.
By the morning the download was complete. And I think it must've seeded the file aswell because I couldn't notice any activity in Azureus.
So I've got all the parts now.
I applied all of the PPF files to my PES5 ISO image and tried it a few hours ago. I also downloaded the option file and copied it to Memory Card.
Firstly, I tried booting it up without my Memory Card. I noticed that most of the errors I posted a few weeks ago have been fixed. But no January transfers.
Then I put my Memory Card in (with the latest option file on there) and loaded the option file. I noticed that the January transfers are there now. But, some things are still iffy.
For example, we still have Elfenbeink, Shaktur Donetzk and San Siro, Mailand. Most of the kits seem to be spot on though.
I've noticed that the Man Utd away kit is still see-through. Arsenal's home shirt no longer has any collars.![]()
A lot of the stats seemed to have been changed like Terry, Carragher and Cech for example. I also noticed that Liverpool's home kit is now their Champions League kit.![]()
And there's also a couple of new stadiums aswell. The City of Manchester Stadium and Philips Stadion have been added.![]()
New intro is good. Definitely an improvement from the last one. Also, the start screen has been changed. It looks good and again, it's better than the last one which I felt was overstretched. I've inserted my own start screen anyway so that doesn't really matter to me anyway.
There aren't that many errors in this patch to be completely honest. There are some but I think it's mainly down to the option file and not the data on the disc itself.
Otherwise, a very good patch. ***** (5 stars)

lssj_broly said:A guy on Evo-Web emailed Filefront and they said the files will be ready for download on Wednesday. So if you wait just a little longer there is no need for a torrent.![]()

djpelle1 said:We can`t put the optionfile in the parabin because then u cant play online against people wich not have the patch!!!! And when u have created players on it the server will kick u when the parabin`s are not the same. They check them everytime when u go online. The only thing that we can do is to make the transfers on it from those players wich are in the original database.

thanks for the advice...cheerz
lssj_broly said:Question.
If i download all files up until PPF_Update_141205 without the fix, will the patch still work? I know if it does, it will be out of date, but i don't really mind and i can't download the rest of the files yet anyway.
Also is DVD-R good for this patch?

thx for this statement![]()
Ko_nami said:It should do. But, I would apply the fix anyway.![]()
And yes, I'd recommend DVD-R for PS2 games - full stop.
DVD+R is problematic on most PS2s, believe me.
Sorry but I've already deleted the torrent file. :erm:
Have you still got the torrent file nofx posted on Monday? If you have then just try it again. It should work. There should be significantly quite more seeds there now.
Thank for a great patch mate.![]()
The one thing that concerned me about this patch though is the filesize. If you count every part of this patch, the filesize comes to about 3.45 Gb.hmy:
The Jonboyo patches were significantly smaller in terms of filesize. But then again, he only did his patches for the English version of the game.
But nofx, you might want to consider that for future patches (say for PES6). It might be best to do one patch then split them into separate files for the English, French, German and Spanish version of the game.![]()
That way, the Spanish speaking people download the Spanish part of the patch and the English speaking people download the English part of the patch etc, etc.
The filesize would surely cut down by at least 50% in my opinion.
