It's not a fake, at the least it's a mock up. I've briefly worked for the people that design covers for PS2 games and they do loads of different versions before Sony choose their preferred one. Sometimes you get variations between the various European countries but that's mainly to do with language rather then the design. Those countries that get 4 language versions (i.e. scandinavia/northern central europe) sometimes get one with a different back cover so incorperate the different blurbs.

Sony have provided play.com with that cover, but whether it'll be the final cover remains to be seen. In my opinion, it doesn't matter so long as the game is good!

As for it being fake,i dont think so.Its the best cover so far,theres nothing wrong with it,it is only a cover after all and its good enough for me!
