It depends on wether your XboX is modified. If so then you can copy the optionfile to your xbox.

Just downloaded this patch , all i can say is thanks to everyone envolved looks great..!!!!!! only thing i cant get working is the option file. wont give me the option of copy with max drive ??(i do know how to install an option file are there any versions by themselves maybe zip might have been corrupt..ta and thanks for all your hard work.................

I burnt a new pes5 dvd with the patch...
Works perfect, looks gorgeous..
Only thing I need to do now is getting the option file to my xbox..
I haven't got my xbox connected to my pc..
Is it possible to get it to my XBOX using an USB device?

You'll have to use a MaxDrive wich is a USB device. Type MaxDrive in the search box...

REALLY NEED HELP!!


I've downloaded all the parts of the patch and the boot update and I have my .ISO image,

but now Im totally confused and I am wondering if you can tell me what to do next, Im a bit confused on what tools to be using, I currently have DVD Decryptor(for obtaining image) ppf-o-matic, Alcohol 120%(for burning)

I assume the next step is to

FTP or burn the files (0_text.afs, e_text.afs, 0_sound, pes5p/n.xmv,
default.xbe) to your xbox or DVD.

Okay here is how I did it:

You need two utilities:
- Xiso
- DVD Decrypter

1. Rip your PES5 DVD to your HD with DVD Decrypter.
(name it PES5.ISO)
2. Unpack the files of the patch to a folder named PES5PATCH.
3. Use Xiso to unpack PES5.ISO to a folder NEWPES5.
4. Copy all the files from PES5PATCH folder.
5. Paste all the files from PES5PATCH folder to NEWPES5 folder, and
choose to replace all files.
6. Open Xiso, select NEWPES5 folder and select build new ISO.
name it NEWPES5.ISO
7. Burn NEWPES5.ISO with DVD decrypter.
(select ISO write, and burn the fucker...)

Okay got the option file on my XBOX also now..
Just got a USBcable that fits on my controller port..
Copied the optionfile to my USB mp3 player and connected
it to the USB cable..
Works great...
Very nice patch... looking forward to future inprovements on this...

Is it essential that you have the OF? like does it affect anything such as kits etc?

It's not essential...
The OF only provides correct player/stadium/league names..

what is the rigt directory?

I have burned the patch to a dvd, but what is the dir that I should copy the files to?There is so many folders is UDATA that I can´t find the one that matches.

edit: Or do I have to copy pes5 to xbox harddisk and then replace the files in patch to the original ones? Someone help please...
