sorry for my english !

First take the option file in the FTP folder because with this one you don't need to unzip.
but if you use the maxdrive :
1- you extract the maxdrive zipfile then it make a folder named "UDATA"
2- you burn this folder on a cd
3- with boxplorer you remplace the old 4b4e0030 folder by the new (the one of the cd)
4- play
For the ftp option file it the same think.

The UDATA folder contains another folder called '4b4e0030'.

So what i am going to do is search for the folder UDATA (is this a general folder of xbox or game specific?), then go inside and find the folder '4b4e0030', and just replace it?

Can somebody post a pic of the some of the unis in the game? MAybe MAN U of USA really just any team. I dont remember which patch i used for my XBOX last year but all the unifomrs were perfect. Just curious and wanted to see how this years looked. Also since i am barey gonna get my PES5, i know you can switch out kit's socks and jerseys etc. DOes this patch still allow this?

you search the folder E:/UDATA/4b4e030 ans you remplace it by the new. (before look in the 4b4e0030 if is it the pes folder -> same files that in the new)

Need some option File Clarification

HUGE PROPS TO THE MAKERS OF THE PATCH IT ROCKS.

Now I have an option file question. I have read through most of the posts on the site here and none of the sugestions worked or i was mission something.

I have a chip modded Xbox with a 300GB HD. My games are saved on the F: Drive. The UDATA and FDATA folders are located onm the E: drive. I tried putting the ption file in those folders and I even tried creating the folders on the F: drive to no avail. I was wonderin if there was some sort of a trick to doing this because when I launch the game the search cannot find the option file. Any help would be appreciated.

Help!!

Wondered if anyone has come across this problem before (or knows how to fix it!!). Basically I d/loaded the patch, and ftp'd it across to my x-box - no problems. Loved all the new bits, stadiums, logos for teams all look great.

Problem was once I got the game started - every team, other than the ones with the proper kits already (e.g Arsenal, Chelsea) are just in these plain black ninja suits (black shorts, black t-shirts, black socks).

Tried deleting the file and putting it back across, but still doen't work.

Can anyone help??? looking forward to grtting a master league started, but with everyone in black it could be a problem!!

Hi Guys

After reading through these posts, I just wanted to clarify a few things. First I'll let you know my situation:

I am currently downloading all .rar files and wanted to check that i will be doing everything correctly so when the download completes I can get playing straight away--with what looks like--the best ever game patch known to mankind!

I have a modified XBOX, all games in F drive. I have no problems FTPing but am new to patching and also unaware of the HD structure. What i've understood from previous posts is that UDATA is a folder on a different drive which holds option files for all games?

This is the process for patching PES5 the way I understand it from what I have read in the posts. Please correct me where wrong!

1) Download all parts of RAR file
2) Extract all information from RAR files
3) Copy this data to the directory contating PES5 on my Xbox via FTP (i.e. replacing all current files, folders including e_text.afs etc.)
4) The next bit I am unsure about!

The Option File:

Obviously I would like all the player/stadium names etc. So could someone please tell me how I get this option file on my xbox?

What is the extension of an xbox option file?

To make things really clear could someone email me the options file or post a link and tell me exactly where to copy to on my Xbox HD?

Or if im being dumb give me step-by-ste instructions for options file if it is already included in the RAR files.

Sorry for the size of this post. Any help highly appreciated.

i have burned the folder UDATA to a cd so that i can replace the optionfile...although my xbox doesnt show up anything with boxplorer. I checked all partitions and they do not show the folder...any help would be great

i know i have to replace the folder... although how do i do that? i insert the cd and i check all partitions to see the files on the cd but nothing shows. I checked particuratly a partition which is named CDrom0 which i guess is the drive but it doesnt show up any folders in order to copy them on top of the other one

help pls

Use the avalaunch explorer or burn the file on a dvd
sometimes, boxplorer don't see files on cd
