My two pence worth - I've enjoyed every PES so far, and I usually feel each one has been better than the last. If anything, I prefer the more cerebral build up, as I saw it, to PES5. I am one of the people who thinks PES should strive to be as realistic as possible. Why on earth do we want stupidly high-scoring games? I sometimes beat PES5 6* teams 8-0 or something, but its just because everything clicks. Even then, it's hardly realistic.. But on the plus side, I can also lose games 1-0 sometimes, even ones I dominate. That's what I love about the series. Shooting is NOT easy.. working space is NOT easy. Defending isn't always easy. Dribbling should NOT be too easy! Even the greatest dribblers in the world only dribble past players a very few times in the course of a professional game, and this has more or less been replicated in most PES to date, in my view. It's more succesful to play a passing game efficiently and well, just as in real life. I do worry about the apparent emphasis on arcadey dribbling and easier shooting. It was easy enough already. If anything, I'd have liked it as it was, with a few more mess-ups from strikers. OK, I'd have ironed out some other things, but up to PES5, I was more than happy. (...)

I agree, mate (though the most I've won is a mere 7-1 (and 6-0)) :(. Agree with most of your other points too.

Just looking at those screenshots posted before, from the looks of things Real's ground is on the game. I noticed that for some reason Coupet is wearing a Parma shirt and Bordeaux's shirt just doesnt look correct. Theres another pic with Real wearing there kit from last season, does that mean they wont have an updated kit same for Inter and Juve?

The kits are always updated (well nearly all of them are) by the time of release. Some of the kits in beta versions can look abit strange or incorrect so don't pay too much attention to them.

Cheers Oliseh.

I find it really frustrating when people post really daft things that really are not a priority. Like the coin-toss, no offence. It would be nice, but then again, it's a very minor thing. Some people actually make totally stupid suggestions in my view - again, like "we want more goals". Why? Just watch ice-hockey instead for gods sake. In other threads previously, like what did we want to see in PES6, some of the posts were just idiotic, proper hair-pulling stuff. It's good to see people agree. Do you also think the appeal of the game and so on could be expanded still further by simply including more teams? Why ever remove international teams? Why not add second tiers for England, Spain, Italy, etc? The data needed for these things seems so minimal to me, even with player commentary names. Even without licensing, it just seems such an obvious way to massively increase the scope of the game. I have NO idea why it hasn;t simply been added. Bah.

spambots?

From what I could see it seems like there in not alot of stat changes other trhan ronaldinho, his were touched but henrys stay the same? why henry foes not deserve a dribble acc of 94 92 at best. So they have reduced ronaldinhos dribbiling so that he is just 2 better trhan henry.....thats stupid.

Did you get to see if they have toned down more on the reds? They seem to be really cutting down on the amount of players that have reds and now with ronaldinho with drb acc of 96 seems like others will also be decresed so there will be even fewer/

Also did you se if players that derve higher stats have been give any like messi and ribinho should have a higher agility and samuel should have better stats and trry and ferdinand worse.

Stats on WE10 have been boosted for nearly everyone so I can't imagine much changing for PES6. Messi and Robinho's are upped.

PS: Terry is underated on it.

why do you complain so much about stats if there is no way in the world youre not gonna download an option file or a patch, or you could just change it yourself? its not like konami owns you or anything

Theres no need to get so worked up about the player stats.

I only play online and believe me, they can be misleading with some players.

John Terry is very good on the game, although i agree his defence stat should be higher than 88.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's stats are very high but he still turns like a whale and can't hit a cows arse with a banjo from 10 yards half the time. Same with Mutu.

Xabi Alonso's passing stat is also very high as it should be but he gives the ball away more than Luis Garcia.
