I'm kind of new here, but I've been reading about how konami is developing a ps3 we/pes with much enhanced gameplay and team AI to make it truly next-gen. My question is, wouldn't any development for the ps3 essentially cross over to the 360 (except maybe graphically). I mean, if they develop some amazing new AI for the ps3, are they really going to keep that exclusive to the ps3 and release an inferior 360 title?

Whoever told you that is being a complete and total pratt. Graphically the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 are pretty much equals, if there was a graphical change then it's be too small to motice, i.e. slightly rounder balls, slightly shinier appearance, etc. so you can consider the rumour complete and utter bullsh*t.

KONAMI take their PES series very seriously and the notion that they'd fob off a lucrative development contract with the only current next generation console on the market is simply rediculous, not to mention entirely untrue, especially considering the fact that the PlayStation 3 won't be out until March next year. If anything they'd be using the 360 to make a statement.

A lot of people who make those kinds of unfounded allegations are PS3 fanboys who weren't happy with the first batch of next generation screenshots KONAMI released, despite the fact that they said they were far from finished with the graphics.

Well said sir. But I think after playing PES6 on the 360, we would all accept that abit more work most be done overall. Great argument. ;)

I don't get why they don't have Terry in the England shirt and Adriano in the Inter shirt.......they're both licensed in the game so why use blank shirts?

Thanks for the compliment.

What can you tell us about the Xbox 360 PES6...

Is there an edit mode, if so what have they changed?

What's the Masterleague like?

Can you mix and match kits like on PES5?

I played it last week.

The game is quite fluid and solid really. The players seem to make more intelligent runs. They rarely burst then stop which frustrated a little in previous games. The balls that you can deliver in from the wings are more precise and I love that as that is a major part of my playing style. There is an edit mode and the whole aesthetics of the thing have had an overhaul. Unluckily, I did not get to play Master League as there was a queue and my master leagues normally take months, so I think I would have pissed of the already rain soaked PES fans in the HMV. Can you mix and match kits? I think by this you mean can you change kits before a game. The answer to that is YES. Don't get me wrong mate, I feel the X-Box 360 version of PES is okay but it is not perfect. Given time i'm sure it will satisfy most peoples 'next-gen' satisfactions. As I have said before, 'next-gen should mean more'... I might make that my sig... I like it. :w00t
