PES6 on PS3???

Hi, I'm trying to find out what the best way for me is to play PES6 or Winning Eleven 10 on my PS3. My PS3 is the JAPANESE version (NTSC) and I heard that NTSC PS3 consoles are not backwards compatible with PAL PS2 games. But, I don't understand Japanese so I wanted to see if I get Winning Eleven 10 and run it on my PS3. Is there an English translation patch that I can run with the original disc? Or is there a way I can run PES6 on my PS3? Thanks.

I'm not sure, I don't suppose many people have a Japanese PS3 here and have tried running an older version of PES... Chances are - it probably won't run PES 6 in PAL, so I'd go for WE - and yes I'm almost certain there is a patch for it, BUT whether the patched version will actually work on your PS3 is something I don't know, and actually doubt...

I think you need to modify your PS3, so that it will accept such PAL games.
There are techie site on the net that offers modification of game consoles.
I know that is worth but I don't know how much it will cost you.

I have a Japanese ps3 as I'm here in Japan. Winning Eleven 2009 was in both English and Japanese and I see no reason why it won't be for 2010. PAL region does not matter.
