Just reread the first post, are we all remembering our top 3 consoles too?

EDIT - Fuck me, this is hard! Down to 13 now, and genuinely don't want to lose any of them.

I feel gutted about some of the games I've excluded. Anyone remember Die Hard Trilogy on PS1?

We should take the time to do a bigger list sometime in future, because I'm the same. Some real gems have to miss out.

I'm a bit of a nerd for lists/personal charts anyway, so I'll probably end up doing a bigger one at some point.

As I said, I whittled mine down from over 75, I think a top 10 has it's merits, but maybe after this exercise, we expand it to genres:

Top 10 FPS
Top 10 Third person Shooter
Top 10 Platform
Top 10 Racer
Top 10 Fighter/Beat 'em Up
Top 10 RPG
Top 10 3D adventure

etc

I'd much prefer something like that rather than everyone just submitting 50 -100 games saying "these are my favourite games...."

Ah yeah. Think that was the first ps1 game I bought. Using the light gun for Die Hard 2, good times.

Problem with anything like this is it's subjectivity, especially if taken across all platforms. Some titles just didn't transfer well.

Added to that the varying ages of the members on here. I recall Hero Quest on the ZX81 swallowing up hours of my gaming time and enjoyably so, but doubt many others ever played that version. Just too difficult to get to a top 10.

FIck, the whole idea is to submit YOUR top 10, it doesnt matter if no-one else has played it, it will still make its way on to PESGamings top game list of all time. There are plenty of games with just 1 vote already.

Look, I've got an idea.

You make a thread. Update the OP every month and put the best games there. Sort them by time (chronologically; monthly).

This way, if there is a good game one has missed out, you can check it out in that thread.
