Just wanted to create this thread so that the people interested in participating in a PESGaming League can sign up, and also add the name of the team that they'd like to use.

Also use this thread to discuss how you want to play the league, the teams that can be used, the teams that cannot be used, etc, etc.
-------------------------------------------------------------

My team will be Boca Juniors, if the league does happen.

I'd join, but I don't like the idea of just picking one team all the time. I'd like some variety.

I'm up for it, the only problem is that I have a shit internet connection. Oh and I've got the US version. These could be problems. I'd like to go Liverpool, but I'm not overly bothered, I'll go anyone.

I don't have a problem with that, really, although I feel that variety would fuck up the idea of a league. I mean, even if you play with the same team all season long, you will still play against different teams with different playing styles, so variety is guaranteed either way. Though again, I really have no problem with someone playing with different teams.

Perhaps we could play two leagues with two different teams?

I would prefer to stick to one team its better for continuity. As for me I'd like to go with either OM or Villarreal. But will European members of the site be able to play those with the American version?

It would also be good for Ameteur to post what teams should be banned from league play in the first post. Madrid, AC Milan and Barcelona for starters. Dont know about banning any Ligue 1 or Eredevisie teams same for other European teams as well.

I hope so, it was possible in PES11, hopefully it is the same with PES12, and hopefully the connection will not be intolerable.

To be honest, I don't see much of a point playing online if you cannot play against people in Europe or Japan or US, etc. Even more so with PES, which is mostly played by Europeans.

Well, I guess I'm alright with using just the one team, I can save the variety for normal matchmaking.

Are we gonna set up an actual community or just play exhibition matches? As soon as we have a full list of players (an even number preferably), we can draft up a fixture list. Home and away matches. 1 match per week, which gives you plenty of time to arrange a convenient time with your opponent.

We should be able to play against each other, I mean, I was able to play against you in 2011 wasn't I?

As for banning certain teams, each team has attributes, so we could put an attribute cap on.

I shall do that, but first, people must decide which teams will not be tolerated.

I'm thinking: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter, AC Milan, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal (does Arsenal still count as a big team?), and a few others, I'm sure I'm forgetting quite a few.

Teams that I don't have a problem with: Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Roma, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, and many others.

I'd say that's fair. Not too sure about Arsenal. Without Cesc and Nasri, their rating would decrease quite a bit. As I suggested, we could just put a cap on the team ratings. Is their 3 stats for the team ratings? Could just take an average and cap that.

That would be simpler and more consistent; though personally, I would like the challenge of playing against teams like Arsenal and Liverpool, big teams, yes, but not otherworldly teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid usually are in PES.

Anyways, a big positive about the league, is that if someone disconnects, he won't get a 3-0 win as a result of the fact that he disconnected.
