Hmm. Sounds cool. Not sure if PES2008 is worth picking up though. Almost everyone claims it is the worst PES yet.

I'm currently torn between: Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Bayern, Fenerbache and Sporting.

Bayern would be the obvious choice, but having played a few matches with them, and trouncing Mike 5-1 when he played as them I have lost some confidence in them. Van Bommel and Schweinsteiger are particularly useless, especially considering their reputations. Also you put a Bayern shirt on Toni and he can't head for shit, it's almost like he's no the same player as he is in the Italy team.

Fiorentina and Sampdoria don't have as many big names but still seem to be more creative, if only I could have Van Buyten at whatever club I play as... that man is a machine on PES.

You won't find it so easy against me when I'm Ajax, as I'm better with Dutch teams than English teams.

I am going to fail miserably having not played PES 2008 at all online (once against Jin actually) and never played the game properly before. :doh:

He's pretty decent, nothing super-special though if I remember rightly. I'm going to play a few friendlies as well, it will also help us establish odds for the betting!

I'm looking to start this next week on Monday. Will wait until Sunday to see if there is any more interest, and if there is will have to change the amount of teams involved. I'll sort out fixtures and that on Sunday too.

Did you try to invite me earlier? I know someone did while I was in the middle of playing Original? as it came up "you were invited" at the bottom. Trouble is, as I went to check, I was logged out and had to log back in, to discover that the invitation was gone.
