Paul B, did I specify any penalty takers yet? If not I'd like to!
You did not, no. All I've got in the way of penalty takers is the in match one. Good point Zyg. Message to all - Feel free to send me your penalty takers if you so wish. What I have been doing is selecting who I thought were the most suitable candidates.

AC MILAN (Zygalski) 0-1 JUVENTUS (fordfocus)
Goalscorer: Iuliano 32

Milan slumped to their second defeat in the group and go out of the competition. Iuliano bagged his 2nd goal of the tournament when he headed in a Del Piero corner. Milan enjoyed most if the possession and chances throughout the match. If either side should have come away with a narrow victory, it should have been Milan. So this means that due to their victories, Depor and Juve are through, who are yet to play eachother.

PARMA (CPU) 1-0 CELTIC (kobe)
Goalscorer: Nakata 21

Parma's 1-0 wins over Celtic guarentee's their place in the semi's. It was Nakata who got the goal, netting his 3rd goal of the cup. What a goal is was too, he gained possession inside the area after an Adriano shot-cross was saved, faked to shoot past one man, took the ball past another then slotted the ball into the far corner. A superb individual goal, another GOTT contender. Parma could have extended their lead but it finished 1-0.

DEPORTIVO (Wainy) 0-0 JUVENTUS (fordfocus)

This match was a fight for 1st place, but it finished in a draw meaning that they finish level on the same points with the same goal difference. It was a very uneventful match, neither side created many chances.

REAL MADRID (Paul B) 1-2 CELTIC (kobe)
Goalscorers: Raul 41, Hartson 54, 81

Real Madrid's cup came to an end after a 2-1 defeat by Celtic. Raul gave Madrid the lead after 41 minutes, heading in a Salgado cross. Hartson equalised for Celtic on 54 mins, heading in after Casillas had saved a Larsson effort. The winning goal came on 81 mins and what a goal it was. After a neat 1-2, Hartson finished the move off with a lovely lobbed finish past the keeper. Another GOTT contender. Raul nearly grabbed a late winner, but his low drive just fizzed wide of the post.

Juventus win 5-4 on penalties

Juventus go into the club cup final after a penalty shoot-out win over Parma. Mauro Cameronesi forced a good save out of Frey after 9 mins after a neat 1-2 with Del Piero. It was Cameronesi again who called the keeper into action in the 64th minute, his long range effort turned away by Frey. The game ended scoreless which called for extra time. Parma came closest to grabbing the golden goal when Morfeo struck the post only to see the ball rebound out straight into Buffon's grasp. The 120 minutes of football played was a tight affair with Juventus creating the more chances, they perhaps should have scored. However, the match was decided on a penalty shoot-out....

Del Piero scored
Adriano scored
Cameronesi scored
Morfeo scored
Trezeguet scored
Nakata missed
Nedved scored
Bennarivo scored
Conte scored

DEPORTIVO (Wainy) 1-0 CELTIC (kobe)
Goalscorer: Victor 49

Deportivo will face Juventus in the final after a 1-0 victory over Celtic. Deportivo gave Celtic a scare when Valeron hit the crossbar from a free kick after 19 mins. Early into the second half, Larsson had a header tipped onto the bar by the Depor keeper. Soon after, Deportivo took the lead. Tristan flicked on a cross into the path of Victor who hit a sweet shot past Douglas. Celtic put some late pressure on their opponents but failed to break through, it ended 1-0 to Depor. This was an extremley even encounter, too close to call.

Parma claimed 3rd place with a 2-1 win over Celtic. Parma got off to the perfect start, Junior dispatching the ball into the net in superb fashion after just 3 minutes. Celtic equalised 7 minutes before half time when Larsson hit a peach of a shot into the top corner from outside the box. After a second half of both sides creating chances, Adriano grabbed a winner for Parma. The Brazilian ran onto a through ball and slipped the ball past the keeper. The match was a tight one, but Parma claim the bronze.
