JUVENTUS (fordfocus) 2-0 DEPORTIVO (Wainy)
Goalscorers: Trezeguet 71, Nedved 85
Juventus beat Deportivo in the clup cup final to clinch a deserved trophy. Both sides were even in terms of possession in the first half but Deportivo created the greater and better chances. Diego Tristan came close for Depor on a few occasions in the first half. It wasn't until the 71st minute that the deadlock was broken, Trezeguet firing in a 20 yard shot. Questions must be asked of the Depor keeper though who was 6 yards off his line. Five minutes from time the victory and the cup was sealed for Juve. Nedved and Cameronesi linked up well before the Czech finished the move off with the outside of his foot. Juve were the better team overall although Depor did create the more opportunities.
To sum up the cup, Juventus were worthy winners, their impressive 3-0 victory over Barcelona was one of the highlights of their tournament. Congratulations fordfocus! You are the PES Insight Clup Cup winner!

David Trezeguet (JUVENTUS vs Barcelona) - The Frenchman fires the ball into the net after twisting and turning just outside the area.
Harry Kewell (LIVERPOOL vs Arsenal) - Kewell fires a low shot into the corner of the net from outside the box.
Adrian Mutu (CHELSEA vs Roma) - Mutu dispatches an injury time free kick into the net to win a point for Chelsea.

9.5/10. Some amazing concise match reports and a good collection of stats. Only downside was that we had to use CPU teams. Would have been more enjoyable if it was all members.

Right, just a quick note to let you know....
I hope to get the goals of the tournament up over the weekend. I'm going to try and film them but it may end up that I'll have to make the X-Port files themselves available for download. So, look out for a new thread feat. a poll for voting.
