PESTAL London Tournaments

Proevo 3, what rod is up your arse? You asked about the tournie in London. If you can't afford it then don't come along. If it's just a little game then why r u getting so upset? There is no need to get so aggressive about the whole thing? I mean I have never boasted about how good I am at PES and to my knowledge neither has Zyg. And if people want to do that that's up to them...

but the only place you can prove it is on the pitch. So either you come to PESTAL and beat Zyg, you go to one near you (or set one up) and ask him along. Or you keep bragging emptily about how good u r and what a bunch of w***ers we all are cos PESTAL isn't in your front room.

And let me pre-empt you and say yes, I am a little gay boy who wants to lick Zyg's arse! rofl! Just chill mate!

PESTAL definitely on this Sunday! Look forward to seeing the guys from this forum who are coming play!

We have been running since the start of the year and have had many come and fall by the way side because the standard of play is very high and they cant compete.

Just like to remind those that do come down that this tournament is supposed to be fun but at the same time competitve enough to test your skills so you see where you are. It is easy to thump the computer and maybe even most of your mates bout how would you fare against a virtual stranger for the first time! So if you don't do as well as you thought you mite try and do better next time!

I say let us enjoy a wounderful game and have and enjoyable tournament:D

ProExpert won the PESTAL tournament yesterday beating calculus in the final.

Due to the rules to spice up this tournament, there were interesting and varied matches due to tactical team selections with some players saving their better teams for the later stages.

Calculus used up his Holland quota in the QF (beating me as England 1-0 with a Kluivert diving header from the edge of the area) and the SF, and had a choice between Australia, Morocco and Paraguay for the final against a strong opponent who had his best team France available.

Paraguay scored first with a great jumping header but France powered back to equalise. In extra time, Henry did some nifty dribbling by the touchline on the left wing, came inside and did an R1 lob over Chilavert which won the match and the tournament.
He did have to hold on at the end though and played an ultra defensive formation to ensure victory.

Interestingly, ProExpert and calculus were drawn in the same group and and finished 2nd and 3rd. Calculus managed to beat the group winner on penalties in the Semi.
The older brother of the official English PES champion finished 3rd overall.

ProExpert has now won about 5 tournaments and is getting a little cocky!
We need some new players to come down and show him what losing is like.

Next one is in 2 weeks.
I'm sure PESTAL will post the rules for that one here soon and will be a similar format of having to choose teams from the different continents.
This is not necessarily a bad thing as ProExpert lost a match when he had to play as someone other than France and makes for more surprise results depending on team selection.

Yeah it was good. Some great matches and goals.

I managed to maintain my record to being knocked out of the knockout stages only by a finalist and only by a narrow margin (apart from the time I lost in the final).

Getting there though - learning from the true masters of the game! :)

Proevo3 was having a bad day and I was helping him let out his aggression.

There is a tournament in Manchester run by Jimzico.
Contact [email protected] for info.
That's the only other one I have heard of at the moment.

Nice 1 i'll look it up. I've noticed that you can sometimes get a bit of flak off some people on this forum Zygalski but i think some come on to intentionally to cause arguments
