calculus, your link doesn't work!

I'm in group K. Only know about turk. Don't know any of the other players.
Irf's got himself into a great group :)
Ah, Zyg, you're in my friends group (Ben). He's not very good, so you'll probably beat him by at least 10  .
EDIT: p.s. I'm in group A, anyone know how good the other players in my group are?

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to playing this thing. My group doesn't look that bad.

I've played against Roko a few times. He's OK. Don't know about the rest of group A.
E, F and J look tough to me.

Ben's coming round to mine on Saturday- I'm going to try to play as well as I can and see how good I am against others (haven't played my mates for ages on PS2).

Just a few questions. Do you have to bring your memory card? and if so, what purpose does it serve? (is it just for tactics?)

Anyone got any detailed directions of the actual place so I don't get lost on Fleet Road?

p.s. I'll be there early if anyone wants a friendly  (and wants to build up their confidence by battering someone  )

No you dont have to bring your memory card but if customise your formation and you have it on ur memory card then if you bring it it will speed up the starting of each match instead of you setting your formation all the time.

I will talk to Magic to get some details up on the site later on today.

Yes, all the national teams are default.
I made the option file for the tournie so I know ;)

It is a default option file with the following changes:

Holland player names and appearances corrected.
Czech Republic player names and appearances corrected.
German player names corrected, a few appearances too.
Beckham's hair updated
So all the national squads are as default.

Hopefully for the tournaments that involve clubs, we'll have transfers updated. If someone wants to help....

Thanks soliloquay :)

I thought it was a good tournament.
I went out in the quarter final to Chris Barr (I think) who was pretty good.
Only lost the one competitive match which wasn't bad. I think I finished 7th out of around 65 players.

Good to meet everyone. Got some pics, will post them up in the next day or so.

Oh, and Osman won the final 4-1. It could have been more since the other guy had a man sent off but Os was in a showboating mood

Femi did well to get to the QF with the Czechs and lost to the losing finalist in extra time. Marshy did well to reach the semi final but lost 2-1 the losing finalist.

 (didn't get past the group stage)- Do you know how Sol, Alex Lyle and Michael did? By the way, I didn't get thrashed by anyone and thought it was great.

I havent had a chance to view your results yet but how do you think you played and coped with the pressure?

Sol, Alexlye and Michael all went out before the QF's.

Phatmann, why didn't you say hello!
I assume you know who I was.

If the Michael you mean was Mystaree, he got knocked out by Maz Idris (brother of the eventual winner) in the first knockout stage. Alex got the round after that I think.

I think it was his first proper tournament and he was a bit nervous but once hes been to a couple Im sure he'll play and perform better and be more comfortable in general :)

Sorry Zyg, but didn't know who you were (Were you the guy with the green hair?), so wasn't gonna go up to random people saying hello :) . I didn't play too badly. I should have battered Alex Lyle, but my finishing was awful (drew 1-1 in the end), lost my first game 4-3 against Simon after a late og between desailly. silvestre and barthez after he crossed it into the box. I should have beaten the guy who lost 6-0 and 7-1 but I wasn't up for it.

A few things which I've learnt from this are: 1) Get a good nights sleep the night before the tournament and 2) PES4 on PS2 is very different to the PC version. :(

Nice one Zyg. Are these pics from after the group stages? cos it seems that they were all taken in the area that group A, B and C were playing (away from my group - F i think :) )
