I read about the cheat for creating an amazing team in ML mode and it works.
Edit mode, transfer all the players to the team of your choice, don't save the option file, start ML and choose the edited team and then save ML.
Very cheeky.

Which team would you select to play with - assuming a default option file will be used (in tournaments etc) - possibly a team with a licenced kit as default?
options appear to be real madrid, ac milan, inter milan with varying kits. the barca kits are too similar to each other for me. any other teams with nice looking kits?

And pick your supreme squad of about 25-30 players. with cover for all positions and don't forget some good set piece takers.
No classics since i'm not yet sure if you can use them.

My typical starting eleven for a couple of practice matches looked like:

Buffon, Carlos, Stam, Nesta, J. Zanetti,
Vieira, Nedved, Veron, Ronaldinho,
Shevchenko, Henry.

I've tried to have a blend of everything in every position. Upfront for instance, the class of Ronaldo, goal scoring ability of v.Nistelrooy, the pace of Martins and the development ability of Baumjohann. I'm going to do this tonight, I think I'll take over Atletico Madrid as they have an awesome home kit. Great idea this is! I'm off to try it!

its easy, just be real, then all their players are available and you can pick and choose...it works like that for any team

You turn Autosave off...

Yep. Turn autosave off or just take out your mem card until your are saving the ML save.
