I got Football Manager 2008 on Wednesday last week - two days before release date and during the clearing of the postal backlog. I expect another two day turnaround (it was posted on Monday) with PES so I'll more than likely have it on Thursday.

Play.com always say in their E-mails 3-5 days delivery I thought.
Thats just standard. Its just you actually get items in approx 2 days.

yep,

mine says processing so it aint gonna get posted until 2mo so will be lucky to get it on release

i ordered a dvd that was due out on the monday and didn't get it till wed and that was after the strike

I preordered mine on September 5th, checked status today and it said 'packing'.

I check 2 hours later and it's gone back to 'processing'. WTF PLAY!?

Yes and technically it is stupid of you to buy PES when you can download it and have it before Friday - using your own logic.

Perhaps we should all download games so that more and more independent companies are bought by EA and we all get fucked over. In case you didn't realise, the likes of Take 2 are on the verge of filing for bankruptcy. Consider what great titles they've brought out and how the likes of Looking Glass and Ion Storm are no longer with us and then see what cheapskates such as yourself have contributed to. People who download games they intend to play regularly but don't pay for them make me fucking sick.

For PC you can - if you're unable to afford a good enough PC to play the game yet buy a fucking console that isn't my problem. You've earned yourself a nice little ban for the following reasons:

-Calling me a fuck which is against the rules
-Downloading games and not paying like a little retard
-Being a complete twonk

don't worry man, mine went from packing back to processing and then it was posted this afternoon.

its normal for your order to go from packing to processing!
