Play USB Controller thingy problem

PES5 doesn't seem to like it very much. I have sed it with other games, and it works fine when skipping the intro vid of PES5, but it knacks up after that, doesn't work at all. Help!

Delete these three files using the search option (i.e. Start-search)
usbpadff.dll
usbpadcp.dll
usbpadzz.inf

Then take out the playstation-usb converter
Restart PC
Re-insert converter

i couldnt find the usbpadzz.inf but it seemed to work just deleting th last 2 worked 4 me

or try
Go to Run -> (Type) Regedit -> HKEY Local Machine -> System -> Current Control Set -> Control -> Media Properties -> Joystick -> OEM -> And Delete VID_OB43&PID_0003.

As a suggestion, I'd back up your files, just incase you do something and it causes your pc to crash and burn up. Although thats highly unlikely

I have USB controllers as well that are identical to PS2 controllers...but you know how on the PS2 you can do those turns and stuff by rotating the right analog stick...well it just doesnt work on mine. And also, it wont let me change them...any1 got any ideas about this ?

Have you edited your settings for the controller in the PES5 Options ?

They seem to be. I might have to do a reinstall job here, will that mean a superpatch reinstall too?

Not wanting to make you sound or look stupid, but because you are using the Play.com adapter and the fact that there are two ports on it, have you definately installed and configured the correct port within the game?
I use that same adapter, and I had the exact some problem, but once I configured the correct port on the options and button config menu, everything worked a treat.
