player abilities?

i have a question about changing players attributes. let's take ronaldinho for example. his attributes are all near 90. so, if i take the player who has worst attributes, and edit his attributes all to maximum, will ronaldinho still be better player than this one?

Well, it's not that stupid of a question. Basically he's asking if there are hidden variables, which is quite possible. The dribbling tricks seem to be player-specific, as one example.

And to the original poster, abilities themselves (special abilities IE marking or whatever) also make a big difference.

finally someone normal. a few people have told me that these hidden variables possibly exist, and i've been doing some testing, and it seems that it's true. if someone knows, is it possible to change those hidden abilities?

Well if you think they exist, one way you can probably retain them is by copying players and then editting them to something else (IE in order to create a guy you just edit c.ronaldo or whomever).

The two pieces of evidence in favor of hidden variables are A. that special tricks (flip flap, bergkamp turn, etc) are player specific and whether or not you can do them is independant of your stats/abilities and B. that certain teams and players (Sao Paolo and Japan are two rumoured team examples) seem to play better than their stats would suggest. Might just be rumours though:)
