in master league your players normally get better till the age 25 right?

so does any 1 know why c. ronaldo got 20 and he stopped going up and know he is 21 a few of his stats are dropping.

he is also not on all over 90 most he is in the 80s.

but rooney just seems to keep going up and up he has come on a lot further than ronaldo

do players have a certian peak where they cannot gain more points than what they have achived already

just seems wierd becuase all the other under 25 are still going up and he stopped?

It just depends on the player for when they reach their peak. For example Del Piero's stats were falling in my first season, and his growth curve was declining. But Nedved, who's older, his stats were still rising.

Check C Ronaldo's growth curve if you haven't already, that should tell you where he's peaked.

I've often wondered what the deal is with players' growth because players like Fabregas seem to go on forever (I'm in 2010 and he's still going!) but others don't change and even get worse despite playing all the time. Seems a bit random to me.

All players age, then regenerate as 17 year olds when they retire (with lower stats i think). Basically you can view your players growth curve. it shows a graph and the curve represents the point when he will reach his peak and won't improve any more. So if his curve peaks at age 25 and then starts falling at 27, chances are when he reaches 27 or 28 his stats will start to fall slowly.

How many seasons have you played??
Any idea how much his stats have improved since the start of ML? Is he better than Vieira now?

whats the religion in japan? is it buddhism? cos all this seems a lot like reincarnation to me! maybe some players like zidane will reach a peak and achieve nirvana, become ageless gods... :)

i'm at the end of my 3rd ML season w/ACMilan, going into friendly matches. i just 'recycled' Maldini. his appearance is unchanged, 17 yrs. old. alot of his stats are way down, but i played him in 2 friendlies, full 90 min., and he hasn't faltered! :)

it cannot be turned off as far as i know

i think its a good idea though becuase on pse3 i played 19 seasons with pritty much the same players at least i am gonna get to play with lots of players now

also it feels good inproving a player

i sold roy keane and put liam miller in his position and have built him up to be a quality midfielder

its also a lot harder to buy players as you cant change it to be easy to tranfer anymore

the is a wefa world ranking ithink the further you get up that the easer it will be to buy players

Thats abit, disappointing. So it's a 17 yearold Maldini, who looks 30+.

C'mon Konami  .

No such luck for appearence and turning the function off - must be inherent in the game engine. Also note that a few "unknowns" do pop up, random people some of whom are also good (Boz (Dutch defender for example).

I've got Roberto Baggio - it's funny as he has grey hair at age 19!!!

Generally, you feel left out if some of your players don't improve after each game, so youngsters will get a lot of attention. But don't forsake those who ALREADY have great stats or still improve as they get older (like Nedved/Nakata)!! Frustrating to play with crappy players against the best sides still!!!
