player popularity

hey guys.
sorry if this has been answered before, i searched but couldnt find anything.
basically, ive had this player who has no popularity (a dash) on master league mode.
ive played him every game (played about 14) and hes scored several goals. how come his player popularity hasnt increased and what do i need to do to increase it?

ive played 2 seasons and ive hardly noticed that much change in the heart thingy

i thought the heart was for thier commitment to the club. i was talknig about the ranking system, A-D.
maybe you are right :S.

no, lozza, you are very right yourself... the heart is the commitment rating..theres another word for it but i cant remember it lol

and i thought the players rankings (A,B,C,D,-) went up in regards to how many games they are playing...so i dont understand why yours hasnt gone up

If you play the plaer more games and win a league or better yet a champions league, it will increase. I'm in the 4th season and they increased. The heart thing increased aswell.

My player ratings are constantly going up and down all the time....

And the heart thing only goes up or down like during the negotiation period at the end of the season...
