Dani Alves can tackle and he and outrun attackers and thats what the video showed, I agree his tactical awareness is bad as he is always in the oppositions half of the pitch
I don't really disagree with you, but one clip or one situation, heck even a compilation does not even tell the true story about a player. You have to take several matches both home and away at various stages in a season to really judge a players stats.
And Defoe has great balance, he is just light. And the game already take weight into the equation of being pushed off the ball. And Defoe has shown several times that he can shield the ball even at high speeds. Maybe 79 sounds high, but seeing several fairly "Bambi on Ice" type players with 85+ balance, then 79 seems quite alright on Defoe. Besides, PSD can't be judged by looking at one player here and there, it's a site that take other players rank into consideration as well as correcting individual mistakes by Konami.
So if you pick just one player to use PSD stats, and the rest is konami stats, then I can almost guarantee you that the player you "fixed" won't be accurate in relation to the rest of the players in the OF.
But I think both Messi and C. Ronaldo are quite alright on that site, but they are in many ways the "measurement standard" in the technical dept for the whole database. It's an "all or nothing" deal if you want it to be "correct".
And another note, using an OF with players modded with PSD stats makes a much better game than Konami original. Because no players are below 70 response, and no outfield players are below 67-68 in important stats such as passing related abilities and team work. And because all players are more equal in terms of response, the game resembles reality much more than Konami standards.
