Im not quite sure . On fifa if you pressed hold down L1 your players runs down for a through ball . Maybe same in pes ...

Well arda, thats the basis 1-2s but sometimes going over the top, if you saw the videos you'd see thats my playstyle. Quite simply ret to do that you press L1 after passing like i said basically this is how i play. Im not saying its the best but its pretty effective and give a barca style of playing pes, also i use the barca formation which is quite tightly grouped but means your never short of a player to pass to.

When your team has the ball you need to start attacking moves by press L1 and working your team up the pitch into space. So for instance if the play starts with my DM i pass to CM (no L1) then pass CM to AMC with L1 then AMC to CF/SS with R1 then you've already got your CM running from deep your AMC running ahead of your strikers then you just continue like that. You must be careful with you defenders tho as this is very attacking if your passing isn't good and you lose the ball with little cover your wide open to counters. Basically you mix it how you like i do it on the go sometimes you see my RB or LB charging up field it just depends on the situation don't continually press L1 either you end up with everyone pushed up/making runs and no one deeper if you need to pass back. Takes practice.

Edit: Forgot to mention your tactics will also define how many runs you get naturally too.Changed the R1s-L1

Hold R1 + Triangle is for over the top through balls, you can do long ones but the longer your hit them the harder they are to connect, however in a built up box providing your player is already running (after you passed and pressed r1) you can just 'dink' it thro by holding R1 and Tap triangle - once you try you'll see what i mean.

Should be L1 + triangle for most on the PS3. Either that's a typo or your button configuration is different hehe.

hehe it happens. Pass and move is also done by pressing R2 immediately after passing the ball, not R1 or L1. The same can be done by holding L1 + X. Don't need to do this all the time but with a good attacking team this can lead to very quick and devastating counter attacks or neat intricate plays around the box.

I've really not been getting enough sleep recently, I wrote that without thinking too much

I use L1 almost exclusively always done the trick, i never used R2 though? I'll have to try it. Imo its great for attacking you overload the opposition quickly but obviously like i said don't use it on all players or your run yourself out of options or cause yourself problems if you lose possession.

Apparently fifa has a 'make runs' button but i guess with the Pes method it makes you pass the ball more and in the end create more realistic chances.
