Yep it works great with my US pc. I am trying to play online, but I bought mine on ebay... You know the one thats "brand new, In original box". Well when it finally showed up from Mylasia (not the UK, like the seller said). It just came in a sleeth and a cut out of the box. So I can play, but not online. When I tried to reqister the game and put in my password. It said my account was already active, yet when I tried to sign on. I had an incorrect password. H E L P!

will be difficult to help you with that....in fact impossible.
Only thing you can do i contact the seller.

However, i fear he made a copy fr himself and is still enjoying the game with your registration code.
If he cant help you i guess you can repot him to ebay...wont help solve your problem though.

If you want to play online you'll have to buy a new copy

Exactly! You should be careful where you are ordering it from. Anyway, the only thing you can do about it is order it again:( I know it doesn't sound ok but that's the only thing you can do at this point.

Btw there is a website where you can order imported games here in California. I think they are in L.A

Check it out. I think they still have PES5... www.gogamer.com

PS: chrisadr, yes it was probably me but unfortunately I don't remember you:( cause there were a lot of people playing WE8I last year...

I will also get WE9 for pc when it comes out. Are you guys planning to buy that too?

Take it easy

hey guys,

Maybe you know already but you should check out www.mojogamers.com

there's a forum with PES5 in it, and i think there's a small community of us pes5 players as well.

Just thought i'd mention it.

I ordered my copy off of Ebay too. The description says it's like the kind sold in the UK, not a cheap import. I hope I don't get screwed over too. What's the name of the seller you bought it from? I want to make sure I'm not getting it from the same guy.

It was from tatacity. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM/THEM!! I reported him to ebay and paypal with hopes of getting my money back. Then I will buy the game again and try to play online. So until then. Cheers!

OK. I just got my game, and I can tell you for a fact that if your DVD region is set to 1, your player WILL NOT detect this game. (if its on DVD) The good news is, there is an extremely easy fix to this that will take you less then 5 minutes.

Google a program called "DVD Region Killer". Its a very small download (less then a megabyte). After you install this you will have to reboot. Once your computer starts back up right click the icon in your system tray and make sure it's enabled. All you have to do then is put the DVD back in the drive and it should detect it and start right up. This worked flawlessly for me.

If for some reason this doesnt work, don't give up. Just google "change DVD region" or something like that and you should find plenty of free programs to try.

The one I used doesnt actually change the region but it checks the disk to see what it is and then makes your computer think its the same. Well, something like that anyway.

I'm off now to play my first game with my friend in England. Good luck.

You must have an old computer. Any modern PC will have a DVD player in it that will play any region DVD/game.

Wrong. I have a Sony DVD burner that isn't even a year old. But like I said, mine are set to region 1, which from everything I've read, is what most DVD players in the USA will be set to. Maby yours is set to 0, but trust me, this has nothing to do with old or new DVD players.

I actually have 2 dvd players on my computer and the other one is the same way. That player is pretty new also. You can change the region on most players 5 times before it won't let you change it anymore.

You can also download firmware for some players that will change it. I just took the easy route with DVD region killer.

Hmm weird. My PC will play any region games & DVD's. I have movies and games from USA and Europe. And I have VCD's. It plays everything and so did my last PC.
