Yes. But for Super Stardust HD only at the moment. Developers will have to create the awards themselves and I doubt most will bother going back to the titles already out and updating them. So don't expect them to come any time soon.

What the fuck is happening? My PS3 takes like five restarts to start fucking reading discs (or maybe just CoD4). After googling this seems like a common problem.

There's none, it just doesn't read the disc and come up with the game icon. You can sign in on the PSN and do whatever. I'm playing against now but that's after a few disc ejections and restarts of the PS3.

same thing happened to my cod4 had to send it to activision who do disc replacements for £12

Depending on where you live Sony will give you a brand new console straight away when they come to pick up your faulty one. Has to be in warranty though.
