Just played CoD4 online, its really good (to me anyway) because its really the first time ive tried anything like it, sold my Ps2 ages ago and I never went online with that, so its a new experience.

It most certainly isn't. Me, Haribo and 2 of his mates were the dream team earlier on today. Double XP when you play this weekend by the way.

I would play late night but I'm trying my best to do some revision/start my assignments, and I imagine it's the same for some others, so I won't be on regularly until after 14th December.

Wolverines! for life though.

I'll be back hitting it CoD4 hard after the 18th. You guys are going to kick my arse, I think I'm only at level 30. Haven't touched the game in a good 2 weeks.

If Sony stop producing the 60 Gb PS3, then I'm seriously gonna re-think whether I want to buy a PS3 at all.

I'm sure there are other gamers out there who would do the same.

Someone I know read it somewhere and informed me but I can't remember why. If this turns out to be the case I may re-consider buying the PS3.

Are there any major differences between the 60GB and 40GB apart from the size?

The 60 Gb PS3 has 4 USB Ports, Camera Card (SD/MMC/XD Card) Reader/Writer and backwards compatability with PS1/PS2 games.

The 40 Gb PS3 only has 2 USB Ports, no Camera Card Reader and no backwards compatability.

I can't speak on behalf of other people but I really liked the backwards compatability on the PS2. If it's missing on the PS3 then I will re-consider whether I want to buy a PS3.

I suspect that Sony are thinking of doing this because they want to encourage more people to buy the PS3. It looks like they don't care which one is more popular just as long as it sells. I guess the PS3 must be doing pretty badly in Europe. Otherwise, Sony would not even think about doing something like this.

The problem for someone like me is that the 40 Gb PS3 is not worth paying £300 for especially when you consider that the 60 Gb PS3 has the Card Reader, extra USB Ports and the backwards compatability. And you're only paying an extra £50 for it too.

Desperate, desperate move by Sony - that's all I can say. :no:

I played the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune demo last night & was impressed. Gonna play the full game later tonight & tell you guys what I think.

The official PS3 remote control is fucking massive!
